 Dwight Dasher - QBDec. 21 - 7:15 pm et
Middle Tennessee State quarterback Dwight Dasher threw for 162 yards and two scores and rushed for 201 yards and two more scores in the win over Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl on Sunday night.  Dasher's rushing total is a record for a quarterback in a bowl game, beating Vince Young's 200 yards in the 2006 Rose Bowl.
Even more amazing is Dasher did it despite having to be attended to twice for rolling his left ankle.  The first time it looked as though Dasher did some serious damage and would not return.

Taking advantage of playing the Florida International defense, Middle Tennessee quarterback Dwight Dasher accounted for five scores in a Blue Raider win. Dasher passed for 182 yards and two touchdowns, and added 178 yards and three touchdowns rushing.
Dasher continues to account for the majority of Middle Tennessee's yardage and scoring, and has been one of the most consistent fantasy performers this season.

Against Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State's Dwight Dasher completed 22 of his 35 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns, while adding a team high 66 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
After struggling a little bit against Troy and Mississippi State the past two weeks Middle Tennessee State quarterback Dwight Dasher is back to his old ways again, filling up stat sheets and bringing smiles to the faces of Blue Raider Nation. It's back to breaking ankles and frustrating cornerbacks in the Sun Belt for Dasher now so get him back in your line up.

 Patrick Honeycutt - WROct. 13 - 1:00 pm et
Middle Tennessee wide receiver Patrick Honeycutt and backup quarterback Nicholas Coleman were arrested and charged with providing alcohol to minors early Sunday morning.  Honeycutt and Coleman "had several kegs of beer and were charging money at the door for empty cups."  We can only assume the cups were going for $3 a pop.
Honeycutt is the team's leading receiver with 20 catches for 220 yards and a score.  “We will be reviewing the situation and taking appropriate action,” said athletic directon Chris Massaro.

 Dwight Dasher - QBOct. 7 - 1:30 pm et
Middle Tennessee State quarterback Dwight Dasher was held to just one touchdown in the 31-7 loss to Troy.   Dasher finished with 245 yards passing and 53 yards rushing.
Credit Troy's defense for putting constant pressure on Dasher throughout the night.  Dasher also had a second touchdown pass dropped late in the fourth quarter.

 Dwight Dasher - QBSep. 20 - 9:15 am et
Once again junior quarterback Dwight Dasher took the reigns of the Middle Tennessee State offense into his own hands, and this time led the Blue Raiders to a big win over ACC opponent Maryland. Dasher tallied 324 yards passing and two touchdowns through the air, and added 26 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
North Texas' defense, yielding 324 yards per game, is now in Dasher's sights so expect another solid fantasy outing.

 Phillip Tanner - RBSep. 18 - 6:15 am et
Middle Tennessee State running back Phillip Tanner will miss Saturday's game with a knee injury.

 Dwight Dasher - QBSep. 6 - 10:30 am et
The box score doesn't do justice to the performance Dwight Dasher gave against the Clemson Tigers suffocating defense. Dasher fought through severe cramps coming on and off the field several times to finish the game 20-of-42 with 204 yards passing, a touchdown and three interceptions. In addition Dasher led the team in rushing with 61 yards.
Coach Rick Stockstill has to have a ton of confidence in Dasher's ability to be a game changer after a performance like this. Dasher fought through cramps, turnovers, and the adversity that comes with both to lead Middle Tennessee State to a respectable showing against Clemson. Keep an eye on Dasher as the Sun Belt schedule begins, because this kid has the ability to be a fantasy sleeper.

 Dwight Dasher - QBApr. 20 - 9:15 am et
Dwight Dasher will enter fall camp as the starting quarterback for Middle Tennessee State. Dasher had a strong spring game completing 17-of-23 passing for 144 yards. Dasher also added a rushing touchdown.
With offensive coordinator Tony Franklin now calling the shots, Dasher is one to watch this fall. He is not someone to draft, but should be on your short list of potential waiver pick-ups once the season gets rolling.

 Phillip Tanner - RBApr. 16 - 2:45 pm et
MTSU's Phillip Tanner has expanded his role in spring ball to include catching the ball out of the backfield.
Offensive Coordinator Tony Franklin will have the Blue Raiders spread out in four-wide sets much of the time. If Tanner is solid in pass blocking, he will be on the field for most of the offensive plays. He's a solid fantasy player as the most legitimate running back on the roster.

 Phillip Tanner - RBMar. 26 - 11:15 am et
Middle Tennessee State running back Phillip Tanner did not practice on Wednesday due to a strained hamstring.
Tanner is not a household name, but he did have 17 touchdowns in 2008. Hamstring injuries can be finicky, but he should be ready to go this fall.

 Dwight Dasher - QBFeb. 5 - 10:00 pm et
Middle Tennessee State has hired former Auburn coordinator Tony Franklin to run its offense.
Suddenly the Middle Tennessee State offense becomes a lot more than just running back Phillip Tanner. There's going to be some offensive fireworks in Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 2009.

 Joe Craddock - QBSep. 7 - 8:30 am et
Joe Craddock led the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders to their first "non-Vandy" BCS win by throwing for 256 yards with two scores. In the process Craddock completed 70% of his passes to nine different recievers against Maryland's defense.
With the name Joe Craddock it just sounds like he should be the QB in the next big football movie, and it appears now Craddock has clearly established himself as the star of the MTSU offense.

 Joe Craddock - QBJul. 23 - 1:35 pm et
Starting quarterback Joe Craddock underwent surgery to repair his right knee.
"We'll wait and see how things go with Joe," coach Rick Stockstill said. "We don't have to make that decision (of Craddock's replacement) right now because Joe is going through rehab and doing better. ... He sees this as a minor setback." Craddock should be 100 percent by the first game of the season.
