 Daniel Herron - RBFeb. 8 - 11:00 pm et
ESPN's Adam Rittenberg lists Ohio State running back Jaamal Berry as one of his players to watch in 2010.  Berry redshirted last year after suffering a hamstring injury before the season began.
As Rittenberg points out, Brandon Saine and Daniel Herron played well last year, but if Berry is as good as advertised, he could be the game changer the Buckeyes are looking for.

 Terrelle Pryor - QBJan. 25 - 6:45 pm et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor talks about his injured knee and the the upcoming season in a series of video interviews on The Plain Dealer.
"It's hurting, you know," Pryor said of his knee and plans to have it reevaluated by a doctor soon.  Though he doesn't believe he will need surgery.

 Terrelle Pryor - QBDec. 28 - 6:00 pm et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor wasn't allowed to accompany the team to the traditional "Beef Bowl" at Lawry's because he showed up for the bus wearing jeans, and coach Jim Tressel would have none of that. Pryor did tell the Plain Dealer that they "were nice jeans."
Just like Rudy's teacher wouldn't let him on the bus to Notre Dame, Tressel didn't think  anyone in denim was ready to feast on prime rib. Rather than fret about it Pryor rounded up his two other fashion-challenged teammates (Doug Worthington and Thaddeus Gibson) and went to have prime rib at the mall (I know).

 Terrelle Pryor - QBDec. 28 - 6:00 pm et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor told The Plain Dealer that he's been playing with a partial tear in his PCL (which leg wasn't specified) and that he's "hurting everywhere." No mention was made of any potential off-season surgery.
Pryor will need to play well in order for the Buckeyes to keep up with the high-flying Ducks. He'll then have a whole lot of time to rest up.

 Ray Small - WRDec. 21 - 7:15 pm et
Ohio State wide receiver/punt returner Ray Small and backup defensive lineman Robert Rose are expected to miss the Rose Bowl against Oregon due to a violation of team rules, this according to the Columbus Dispatch.
The biggest impact of the possible suspensions will be felt on special teams, where Small is the starting punt returner.  Wide receiver depth may also be an issue as Duron Carter will also miss the game due to a previous suspension.

 Brandon Saine - RBDec. 16 - 1:45 pm et
CNNSI.com reports that ten Buckeyes are having their draft stock evaluated, with running back Brandon Saine and wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher among the group.
Jim Tressel has always been in favor of his players checking out their options, so this is no shock. If Saine and Sanzenbacher do decide to take the plunge then we'd deem that a little surprising.

 Terrelle Pryor - QBDec. 15 - 10:45 pm et
Ohio State coach Jim Tressel has decided to not make sophomore quarterback Terrelle Pryor available to talk to the media as the Buckeyes prepare for the Rose Bowl against Oregon.
We'll guess that the Buckeye coach is familiar with this old quote: "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

 Terrelle Pryor - QBNov. 18 - 5:30 pm et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor (ankle) and running backs Daniel Herron (ankle) and Brandon Saine are expected to be at full strength versus Michigan on Saturday.
I don't think anyone is ever full strength this time of year, but you get the picture.  The news is certainly not getting any better for Michigan this week.

 Brandon Saine - RBNov. 15 - 8:00 am et
Ohio State running back Brandon Saine ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns, while fellow back Daniel Herron ran for 97 yards and a score in the overtime win over Iowa.
The offensive line is starting to gel as the Buckeyes ran for over 225 yards as a team for the fourth consecutive week.

 Terrelle Pryor - QBNov. 12 - 2:00 pm et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor still has pain in his left ankle but is expected to play this week against Iowa.
Pryor has been consistently finding the end zone in recent weeks.  But with Pryor not 100 percent, he could find it tougher sledding this week against a stiff Hawkeye defense.

 Terrelle Pryor - QBNov. 8 - 8:45 am et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor accounted for 175 yards of offense with three total touchdowns in the Buckeyes win over Penn State.
Despite all the "Terrelle Cryer" t-shirts in the stadium, Pryor went back to his home state and delivered the win.  Two more Buckeye wins and they head to Pasadena

 Terrelle Pryor - QBNov. 3 - 5:30 pm et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor sat out the second half of last week's laugher with New Mexico State, though coach Jim Tressel expects his sophomore "not to be debilitated" this week.
We'll officially list Pryor as "not debilitated" for this Saturday's contest, though he's a risk against a stout Penn State defense and a whole bunch of screaming crazy people in State College.

 Aaron Pettrey - KNov. 3 - 5:30 pm et
After losing starting kicker Aaron Pettrey (knee) for the season, Ohio State coach Jim Tressel will have Devin Barclay and Ben Buchanan battle this week for the right to kick against Penn State on Saturday.
Whoever takes over the job for the Buckeyes should be avoided until he proves his ability to make kicks consistently.

 Aaron Pettrey - KNov. 3 - 3:15 am et
To update an earlier blub, Ohio State kicker Aaron Pettrey is out for the season after it was verified he tore the MCL on his right (kicking) knee.
Walk on Devin Barclay is the new Ohio State kicker.  If you need a kicker, you might want to look elsewhere.

 Aaron Pettrey - KNov. 2 - 7:15 pm et
Ohio State kicker Aaron Pettrey is expected to be ruled out for Saturday's game against Penn State.
Devin Barclay will more than likely handle the kicking duties for the Buckeyes in his absence. This is a concern for Ohio State, as Barclay made just one of three attempts after replacing Pettrey in the second quarter against the Aggies, and points may be hard to come by in Happy Valley.

 Terrelle Pryor - QBNov. 1 - 8:15 pm et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor saw his day against New Mexico State cut short due to a leg injury suffered in the 2nd quarter. The sophomore told The Cleveland Plain Dealer that "it's a little bump on my leg. I'll be fine."
Despite Pryor's proclaimed clean bill of health, this is a situation we'll have to monitor, as any leg injury to this mobile quarterback could have an impact moving forward.

 Aaron Pettrey - KOct. 31 - 4:00 pm et
Ohio State kicker Aaron Pettrey was carted off the field after suffering an apparent knee injury after being hit on an extra point attempt against New Mexico State in the second quarter.
Walk on Devin Barclay has taken over and will kick for the rest of this game.  Ohio State is calling the injury a sprain at this point, but check back later this week for details.

 Terrelle Pryor - QBOct. 31 - 4:00 pm et
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor threw for 135 yards and ran for another 83 with two combined touchdowns in Ohio State's win over New Mexico State.
Pryor observed the second half in street clothes as he watched the Buckeye defense hold the Aggies to just 62 total yards.

 Brandon Saine - RBOct. 30 - 1:15 pm et
Ohio State runnng back Brandon Saine (concussion) has been cleared to play against New Mexico State on Saturday.
Daniel Herron may also see some limited duty as he recovers from a high ankle sprain, but expect Saine and freshman Jordan Hall to see most of the work on Saturday.

 Brandon Saine - RBOct. 27 - 8:15 am et
"You never have enough tailbacks because tailbacks take a pounding unlike any other position," Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said.  The Buckeyes will put that theory to test after losing Brandon Saine to a concussion last week against Minnesota.
The Buckeyes have also been without starter Daniel Herron (ankle) for several weeks.  If neither can play Saturday against New Mexico State, Jordan Hall and Jermil Martin will have to carry the load.
