 Kendall Hunter - RBFeb. 8 - 10:15 pm et
Brandon Chatmon of The Oklahoman looks back at Oklahoma State 2009 recruiting class, and he appears very high on running back Jeremy Smith, deeming his potential "superb."
The direction of the Oklahoma State offense will be one of the off-seasons most intriguing stories, and it appears that young Mr. Smith has great keeper potential.

 Kendall Hunter - RBJan. 22 - 10:00 am et
"Everybody in the country knows who Kendall Hunter is, and I'm thinking about giving him the ball on about every other snap," newly hired Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen said when asked what he knew of the Cowboys' personnel. "Other than that, I don't know a whole bunch about them."
Holgerson, a Mike Leach disciple, is sure to bring about some change in Stillwater.  But despite his pass-happy offense, we still see Kendall Hunter as being a big part of the offense.

 Brandon Weeden - QBJan. 21 - 8:00 pm et
Former Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell has joined the coaching staff at Oklahoma State.  Harrell will assume the role of quality control.
With the hiring of Dana Holgorsen and now Harrell, the Cowboys are assembling an offensive staff affluent in the Mike Leach system.  The stock of quarterback Brandon Weeden increases by the day.

 Kendall Hunter - RBJan. 19 - 9:15 am et
As The Oklahoman's Brandon Chatmon points out, despite the hiring of offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen, running back Kendall Hunter will still be heavily involved in the offense.
We love this hire for the Pokes. Not only for quarterback Brandon Weeden and the Pokes' receivers, but also Hunter. Bryce Beall (2008) and Charles Sims (2009) thrived in Holgerson's pass happy offense. And one could argue that Hunter possess the most talent of any back to play in his system, especially with his ability to catch out of the backfield.

 Brandon Weeden - QBJan. 11 - 10:15 am et
With the departure of Zac Robinson, Brandon Weeden is expected to take over the starting quarterback job for Oklahoma State next fall.
Weeden is a good looking young quarterback.  But it's hard to envision a Cowboy offense that doesn't feed Kendall Hunter a majority of the time.

 Zac Robinson - QBDec. 29 - 6:45 pm et
Oklahoma State quarterback  Zac Robinson's shoulder injury, suffered on November 14, was worse than originally thought. "There was a lot of bruising, but it ended up being a (sprained AC joint)," Robinson told reporters.
There is no update on how his shoulder is feeling now, but you have to assume it is still bothering him some.  He's also dealing with an ankle injury. Robinson is battered, bruised and one to avoid against Ole Miss.

 Kendall Hunter - RBDec. 23 - 10:15 am et
The Oklahoman reports that Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy is looking for running back Kendall Hunter (ankle) to look like himself in the bowl game, thus providing a nice springboard to the 2010 campaign.
Hunter's inability to catch a break and stay healthy led to disappointing fantasy numbers in 09, though he's an excellent candidate for a huge bounce-back season in 2010.

 Zac Robinson - QBDec. 15 - 11:45 am et
Tulsa World is reporting that Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson sprained his ankle in the season finale against Oklahoma and the swelling has yet to subside.
Robinson will likely play in the Cotton Bowl versus Ole Miss but it doesn't sound like he will be 100 percent.  Robinson is not a good fantasy option this bowl season.

 Zac Robinson - QBDec. 2 - 9:45 am et
After being drubbed by Oklahoma 27-0 last Saturday, Oklahoma State has apparently lost out on the chance for an at-large BCS bowl bid. Instead, it looks like they could be headed to the Cotton Bowl.
There are five BCS bowls and six automatic tie-ins. Ohio State is the only team in for sure. The ACC, Big East, Big 12, Pac-10 and SEC conference champions will be determined this Saturday.  The contenders for the four remaining at-large spots are: the loser of Florida and Alabama, Texas (if they lose to Nebraska), Iowa, Penn State, TCU, Boise State and Oregon (if they lose to Oregon State).

 Zac Robinson - QBNov. 28 - 11:00 pm et
Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson threw for just 44 yards on 9-of-20 passing in Saturday's drubbing at the hands of in-state rival Oklahoma.
Robinson was not 100 percent healthy in the game, after missing last week's contest against Colorado. This marks the worst offensive performance of the decade for the Cowboys, who managed just six first downs and 109 total yards.

 Zac Robinson - QBNov. 24 - 10:00 pm et
Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson (concussion) practiced with the first-team offense on Monday and is expected to start in the Bedlam game against Oklahoma.
Robinson is probably not a great fantasy start this week.  But if your options are thin, at least it looks like he will play.

 Zac Robinson - QBNov. 23 - 3:45 pm et
Tulsa World reports that Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson (bruised right shoulder) is expected to practice on Wednesday, though his odds of starting against Oklahoma on Saturday are 50-50.
If Robinson can't go then Brandon Weeden will get the start. Weeden jumped to the #2 spot after outplaying Alex Cate against Colorado; Cate had been Robinson's backup.

 Keith Toston - RBNov. 22 - 7:00 pm et
Oklahoma State running back Keith Toston had 217 all-purpose yards in Thursday's win over Colorado. Toston caught two passes for 45 yards and a touchdown and ran for 172 yards and a score on 30 attempts.
Toston was assisted in the backfield by Kendall Hunter. Hunter, who returned recently from an ankle injury, is still not playing as the primary back but did chip in 47 yards on 11 carries. This game marks Toston's fifth game with over 100 yards of total offense.

 Brandon Weeden - QBNov. 22 - 7:00 pm et
Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden netted168 yards and two touchdowns on 10-of-15 passing in relief of second-string quarterback Alex Cate in Thursday's come-from-behind win over Colorado.
Starter Zac Robinson sat out after taking a big hit at the end of last week's game against Texas Tech and Cate played the first half, never completing a pass in nine attempts. Weeden sparked the offense to victory in the second half of the game. It is expected that Robinson will be ready to play in the Bedlam game next Saturday.

 Brandon Weeden - QBNov. 20 - 4:00 pm et
Oklahoma State's offense was stuck in neutral until the second half against Colorado when running back Keith Toston busted two long touchdowns.  The first on a 45-yard run late in the third quarter and then a 47-yard pitch and catch from quarterback Brandon Weeden in the fourth quarter.
Owners that sat Toston were looking like they dodged a bullet until his late explosion. Toston finished the day with 30 carries for 172 yards and two catches for 45 yards.

 Zac Robinson - QBNov. 19 - 5:15 pm et
Tulsa World sources say that Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson will dress but won't start tonight against Colorado.
Robinson will probably only play if something happens to Alex Cate.  Look for the Cowboys to employ plenty of ground and pound with running backs Keith Toston and Kendall Hunter.  But which one will see the most carries?

 Zac Robinson - QBNov. 19 - 4:45 pm et
The status of Oklahoma State starting quarterback Zac Robinson (concussion) for tonight's game against Colorado is still unknown.
Earlier in the week coach Mike Gundy was hopeful Robinson would be able to play but Alex Cate has been taking most of the first team reps in practice.

 Zac Robinson - QBNov. 18 - 5:30 pm et
The status of quarterback Zac Robinson (concussion) remains unclear and Tulsa World sources say that backup Alex Cate has been taking most of the first-team reps in practice.
The Cowboys have a short week to prepare for Colorado on Thursday, further complicating the issue.  Coach Mike Gundy said earlier this week that he believed Robinson would play, but right now we would consider Robinson a start risk.

 Zac Robinson - QBNov. 16 - 7:15 am et
Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy told Tulsa World that he thinks quarterback Zac Robinson (possible concussion) will start in Thursday night's contest with Colorado.
The Thursday game complicates things a bit, though Gundy's optimism is a very good sign.

 Kendall Hunter - RBNov. 16 - 7:15 am et
Jenni Carlson of The Oklahoman writes that Kendall Hunter's (ankle) return to the lineup came just in time, as the Cowboys continue to deal with still more injury obstacles.
Hunter ran 17 times for 68 yards against Texas Tech on Saturday, and this number of carries should give owners the confidence to start him against Colorado on Thursday night.
