 Chris Harper - QBFeb. 8 - 11:00 pm et
ESPN's Ted Miller lists Kansas State transfer quarterback/wide receiver Chris Harper as one of his Big 12 players to watch this spring and fall.
We love Harper's potential at quarterback under Bill Snyder.  Snyder's best teams have had a quarterback (Michael Bishop) that can run and pass, which Harper can do.

 Garrett Embry - WRFeb. 2 - 4:30 pm et
Oregon wide receiver Garrett Embry has been dismissed from the team.
Oddly enough Oregon claims they dismissed Embry on Jan. 8, which would be before the alleged theft at a local frat house in which Embry and quarterback Jeremiah Masoli were named in the police report. There is no further information on the investigation of that case.

 Jeremiah Masoli - QBJan. 27 - 3:15 pm et
Eugene police have provided no further information in the alleged theft at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house.
This investigation has drawn a lot of attention after Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli's name showed up in the police report.  However, according to a police statement on Monday, he is not considered a suspect right now.

 Jeremiah Masoli - QBJan. 26 - 8:30 am et
Eugene police say Oregon Duck quarterback Jeremiah Masoli and wide receiver Garrett Embry are named in alleged theft at an Oregon frat house but are not suspects at this time.
The police are still conducting their investigation and have not named any suspects.

 Jeremiah Masoli - QBJan. 25 - 6:45 pm et
Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli and Garrett Embry have been named in a police report filed regarding an alleged theft of two MacBook Pro computers and a guitar.
This is still under police investigation, but this is obviously not good news or the Ducks.

 LaMichael James - RBJan. 12 - 11:15 am et
Oregon running back LaMichael James has joined the track team and will likely run the 100m for the Ducks' indoor team this winter.
James showed off his speed and lateral quickness this fall and will be one of the top fantasy running backs for 2010.

 Jamere Holland - WRDec. 23 - 7:30 pm et
Oregon wide receiver Jamere Holland has been ruled academically ineligible to play in the Rose Bowl against Ohio State.
Holland hasn't had quite the impact we thought this year, but he was still an integral part of the Ducks' two-deep.  Holland will finish the season with 13 catches for 199 yards and two scores.

 Jeremiah Masoli - QBDec. 7 - 10:45 am et
Ohio State will take on Oregon in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1 at 4:30 p.m.
This is setting up to be a great fantasy matchup between Buckeye quarterback Terrelle Pryor and Duck quarterback Jeremiah Masoli.  And don't forget about Duck running back LaMichael James and Buckeye running back Daniel Herron.

 LaMichael James - RBDec. 4 - 3:45 pm et
Oregon running back LaMichael James had 166 yards and three touchdowns in a win over rival Oregon State.
James struggled to find room to roam in the first half, but broke lose for a 52 yard run late in the third quarter to put the Ducks ahead to stay.  It was his seventh straight game rushing for over 100 yards, and his sixth game this season over 150.  Quite impressive for a freshman.  He'll probably have a tough time equaling those numbers in the Rose Bowl against Ohio State, but James is a great keeper for next season.

 LeGarrette Blount - RBDec. 4 - 8:45 am et
Much maligned Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount returned for last night's Civil War against Oregon State, rushing nine times for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Blount provided the Ducks with a spark as they were trailing by nine points in the third quarter when he found the endzone.  He shook off a few tackles and ran a few guys over, and looked like the Blount we'd see all season.  It will be interesting to see if Blount garners more carries in the Rose Bowl against Ohio State.

 Aaron Pflugrad - WRNov. 30 - 8:45 am et
Jeff Metcalf of The Arizona Republic comments on the coming attractions for the 2010 Arizona State Sun Devils, and it's clear that the staff has high hopes for wide receiver Aaron Pflugrad, an Oregon Duck refugee.
The Sun Devils lose quite a bit of wide receiver production, and one would expect an experienced talent like Pflugrad to step right in and contribute.

 Jeremiah Masoli - QBNov. 22 - 2:45 pm et
Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli had 284 yards passing and three touchdowns, while running for 61 yards and three more scores in a thrilling double overtime win at Arizona
Masoli's good fortune came at the expense of running back LaMichael James, who had 117 yards but failed to score.  The Ducks take next week off, so this may have been your last chance to enjoy Masoli this season.  If so, he picked a great way to end his fantasy season.

 LaMichael James - RBNov. 19 - 1:00 pm et
Oregon running back LaMichael James and tight end Ed Dickson missed Tuesday's practice due to the flu.  The pair were back at practice on Wednesday.
James and Dickson should be fine this week against Arizona.

 Ed Dickson - TENov. 17 - 9:30 pm et
The Oregonian reports that Oregon tight end Ed Dickson missed practice due to "a bug" and that the senior was also "wearing a mask."
We'll assume the mask was one used to prevent germs and not a Hannibal Lector style model designed to keep Dickson from attacking others. Either way this is a situation we'll monitor as Dickson is a top BCS tight end.

 LaMichael James - RBNov. 16 - 7:30 am et
Oregon running back LaMichael James had 150 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Arizona State.
There was no LeGarrette Blount sighting, and its clearly going to be James' show down the stretch.  He's shown zero signs of slowing down, and you can play him with confidence next time out against Arizona.

 LeGarrette Blount - RBNov. 12 - 3:30 pm et
Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount has picked up the intensity in practice since being reinstated on Monday. "Today was really his best day and he really seemed to be getting back into the flow of things and getting his feel back," running backs coach Gary Campbell said after practice on Wednesday.
Immediate playing time is not a given for Blount just because he no longer running with the scout team.  He'll need to continue to shake off the rust before he moves up the depth chart.

 LeGarrette Blount - RBNov. 9 - 9:15 pm et
ESPN.com's Ted Miller writes of a "reduced role" for Oregon's newly reinstated running back LeGarrette Blount, especially in light of LaMichael James' emergence.
We'll speculate that Blount's "reduced role" could see him serve as a short-yardage or goal line specialist. And while this should be intriguing to fantasy owners, it's too risky to bank on Blount at this point in the fantasy season.

 LeGarrette Blount - RBNov. 9 - 1:15 pm et
Oregon has officially reinstated running back LeGarrette Blount.
Guessing the number of carries Blount will command from here on out would be like pulling a number out of a hat at this point.  LaMichael James has looked great, but given that Blount has been practicing, he should be close to game ready immediately.  Expect a few carries, maybe close to the goal line, but don't expect Blount to be a playoff savior.

 LaMichael James - RBNov. 7 - 10:15 pm et
Oregon running back LaMichael James led the Ducks in receiving yards in tonight's upset loss at Stanford, catching four balls for 89 yards out of the backfield.
He also carried 18 times for 125 yards and a touchdown.  My quick math tells me that this is over 200 yards total offense, and James just keeps getting better every week.  The freshman looks like a great play for as far as I can see.

 Jeremiah Masoli - QBNov. 7 - 10:15 pm et
Oregon QB Jeremiah Masoli did all he could to prevent an upset at Stanford, throwing for 335 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for another score and 55 yards.
The Duck defense simply couldn't stop the Cardinal offense.  Luckily, real life wins don't matter in fantasy football, and Masoli is healthy and clicking on all cylinders.  The Ducks return to Eugene next week to take on Arizona State.
