 Joe Martinek - RBDec. 22 - 4:00 pm et
Rutgers offensive tackle Anthony Davis has decided to forgo his senior year and enter the 2010 NFL Draft.
Davis will immediately become one of the top tackles in the draft. With the loss of Davis, the Scarlet Knights will have to replace three starters on the offensive line in 2010.

 Tim Brown - WRDec. 20 - 11:30 pm et
Rutgers wide receiver Tim Brown caught four passes for 99 yards and a touchdown in the win over Central Florida at the St. Pete bowl.
There were concerns that Brown's gimpy ankle could be a problem for this game, but he seemed to be 100 percent.   His injury no doubt scared some people to not draft him in post season leagues.

 Tim Brown - WRDec. 15 - 10:45 pm et
Rutgers wide receiver Tim Brown (ankle) remains "day-to-day" according to head coach Greg Schiano, thus his status for this weekend's St. Petersburg Bowl remains in doubt.
It's hard to imagine Brown having a considerable impact on Saturday, thus fantasy owners will want to sit the talented senior.

 Tim Brown - WRDec. 8 - 1:45 pm et
Rutgers wide receiver Tim Brown (ankle) could miss the St. Petersburg Bowl against UCF.  “It’s hurting me real bad,” said Brown. “I really want to see what’s going on. Just waiting to hear from Doc.”
Brown had seven catches for 114 yards against Louisville in week 12 playing through the injury, but was held without a catch last week against West Virginia.  Brown has a couple of weeks to rest before the Dec. 19 bowl game, but at this point we'd consider him questionable.

San San Te - KNov. 24 - 9:45 am et
Rutgers wide receiver Tim Brown (ankle) and kicker San San Te (leg) both practiced on Monday, but in a limited capacity.  They are both considered day-to-day.
It's championship week and this is not a time to be starting players that may not play.  Avoid the Rutgers kicking situation and Brown.  Mohamed Sanu is an option if you are looking for a WR3.  Rutgers plays Louisville on Friday night.

 Kordell Young - RBNov. 16 - 8:15 pm et
Rutgers running back Kordell Young will miss the rest of the season with more knee problems.
Young has had nothing but bad injury luck during his career at Rutgers.

 Tim Brown - WRNov. 1 - 12:00 am et
Rutgers wide receiver Tim Brown caught an unlikely 81 yard touchdown pass with 22 seconds remaining to defeat Connecticut.  For the day, Brown caught 5 passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns.
An amazing turn of events, as Connecticut scored a go-ahead touchdown with just 38 seconds left, only to have Brown score just 16 seconds later.

 Joe Martinek - RBOct. 1 - 7:45 pm et
After back-to-back 100 yard rushing performances, Rutgers running back Joe Martinek is in position to lock up the starting tailback spot for Rutgers.  “He’s running well,” coach Greg Schiano said. “If he can string a few more of those together, (Martinek) can lock it down.”
Martinek has been battling Jourdan Brooks for the right to be the Scarlet Knights' lead back.  Right now Martinek has the edge.

 Joe Martinek - RBSep. 20 - 10:45 am et
Rutgers running back Joe Martinek ran 23 times for 121 yards in Saturday's win over Florida International.
If you were worried about Kordell Young and Jourdan Brooks, this game may set you at ease.  Young and Brooks combined for just six carries in the game.

 Kordell Young - RBSep. 16 - 1:45 pm et
Rutgers running back Kordell Young (knee) says he is healthy and ready to play.
Even if Young is ready, he will likely see limited snaps against Florida International on Saturday.  Jourdan Brooks and Joe Martinek should see the bulk of the carries.

 Jourdan Brooks - FBSep. 15 - 9:45 am et
Jourdan Brooks and Joe Martinek are listed as co-starters at running back for Rutgers's game against Florida International.
After two weeks of play it is hard to get a read on the Rutgers running back situation once again.  Both have had their moments.

 Kordell Young - RBSep. 14 - 9:15 pm et
The Star-Ledger reports that Rutgers running back Kordell Young (knee) could see the field this weekend against Florida International.
We'll have to see Young run for a little bit before recommending him for any college fantasy football duty.

 D.C. Jefferson - QBSep. 14 - 9:15 pm et
Rutgers has listed quarterback-turned-tight end D.C. Jefferson as its starter at the tight end spot.
Jefferson, a very intriguing athlete, is a starting consideration in Big East leagues only. However he's definitely one to watch. Shamar Graves will likely take a hit as a fantasy option.

 Julian Hayes - WRAug. 19 - 8:30 am et
Rutgers wide receiver Julian Hayes was impressive in this weekend's scrimmage, catching over 100 yards worth of passes from several of the Scarlet Knight quarterbacks.
Tim Brown is the most likely candidate to replace the departed Kenny Britt and Tiquan Underwood.  Hayes is a name to remember in Big East leagues.

 Kordell Young - RBAug. 17 - 9:30 am et
Rutgers running back Kordell Young (knee) has still yet to receive medical clearance, and it looks like he may miss the first two scrimmages.
Young, one of the key cogs in the attack, cannot seem to catch a break.   Joe Martinek is the top candidate to lead the Rutgers ground game.

 Joe Martinek - RBAug. 16 - 12:00 am et
Running back Joe Martinek currently leads the race to be Rutgers lead back this season.  "I thought Joe ran hard,"  coach Greg Schiano said of the bruising runner after Saturday's practice.
He's not flashy but he hits hard, and that is all that might be needed for this straight forward runner to capture the starting gig for the Scarlet Knights.

 D.C. Jefferson - QBAug. 12 - 4:00 pm et
According to Rutgers coach Greg Schiano, quarterback D.C. Jefferson is still "in the mix" for the starting quarterback job.
Jefferson is currently competing with Dom Natale, Jabu Lovelace and freshman Tom Savage for the job.  Natale seems to be the front runner right now.

 Kordell Young - RBAug. 12 - 10:00 am et
Rutgers redshirt freshman running back Kordell Young (left knee) could only sit and watch as the team began drills, though he told NJ.com that he feels he'll be ready for the season opener.
While Young may be healthy for the season opener it's hard to imagine him being in any semblance of game shape.  Right now Jourdan Brooks appears to be the man in the backfield.
