TCU quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns on 13 of 24 passing in Saturday's 38-7 victory over BYU.
Dalton's 241 yards passing is a season-high for the junior. As usual, the TCU defense also shined in the game, sacking BYU's Max Hall four times on their way to the win.

 Andy Dalton - QBOct. 19 - 12:00 am et
TCU quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns on 15 of 23 passing in Saturday's big win over Colorado State, 44-6.
As has been the case for the Horned Frogs all season, special teams and defense are their bread and butter. TCU got a touchdown off a punt return from Jeremy Kerley and the defense held Colorado State to just 10 first downs in the game.

TCU quarterback Andy Dalton passed for 189 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 39-14 win over their Dallas/Ft. Worth-area neighbor, SMU.
Dalton also threw his second interception of the 2009 season in the game and had a called fumble overturned in the third quarter.  Both touchdown tosses occurred in the fourth quarter, one to Luke Shivers and the other to Antoine Hicks - who also had a rushing score earlier in the game.

 Andy Dalton - QBSep. 27 - 2:45 pm et
TCU quarterback Andy Dalton led the Horned Frogs to a 14-10 victory at Clemson with 226 yards and two touchdowns on 17 of 26 passing on Saturday.  He also chipped in 86 yards rushing on 19 attempts.
As with every week, the TCU squad is relying heavily on a solid defense to get them in the mix for BCS buster, not necessarily offensive production.

 Joseph Turner - RBSep. 24 - 12:15 pm et
Following two knee surgeries TCU running back Joseph Turner is off to a good start this season with nearly 200 yards and four touchdowns in his first two games.
Turner might not ever be a 20 carry per game back, but his power is a valuable asset around the goal line.  He's got a tough match up this week on the road in Death Valley (Clemson).

 Joseph Turner - RBSep. 21 - 8:15 am et
TCU running back Joseph Turner toted the rock 13 times for 129 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's drubbing of Texas State, 56-21.
The generally moderately-scoring Horned Frogs surpassed 50 points for the third time in the last two seasons.  TCU had seven rushing touchdowns in the contest, the three from Turner along with one each for Ed Wesley, Antoine Hicks, Matthew Tucker and Jercell Fort.

 Joseph Turner - RBAug. 20 - 12:15 pm et
The TCU offense looked impressive in Wednesday's scrimmage, according to Stefan Stevenson in the Star-Telegram. Running backs Joseph Turner and Matthew Tucker scored repeatedly in short yardage situations.
If they can score against the vaunted TCU defense, they will likely have success against the more pedestrian defenses that they will face week in and week out. These running backs, especially Turner, could surpass expectations this year.

 Andy Dalton - QBAug. 14 - 4:30 pm et
TCU quarterback Andy Dalton was back on the practice field Thursday after missing two sessions with what was described as a minor leg injury.
Dalton will make a good spot-starter at quarterback if he can avoid injuries throughout the season.

 Jimmy Young - WRNov. 22 - 8:15 pm et
TCU's go-to at wideout Jimmy Young had an excellent showing in the last game of the season for the Horned Frogs, taking five receptions for 100 yards versus the Air Force Fighting Falcons.
It was Young's fourth game this season with 100 yards or better in receiving. TCU had been hoping to finally identify a breakout receiver this season and seems to have found him in the youngster from Monroe, Louisiana. Watch for the sophomore to continue improving as does sophomore quarterback Andy Dalton.
 Andy Dalton - QBNov. 22 - 8:15 pm et
The sophomore quarterback for TCU, Andy Dalton, looked fantastic today against the Air Force Fighting Falcons, throwing for 321 yards and two touchdowns through the air and adding two additional scores on 37 yards on the ground.
With the exception of last week's lost to Utah, Dalton has had a magnificent second half of the season. Over TCU's final five games of the regular season, the sophomore has had two 300-yard passing games, thrown for 11 touchdowns, and been picked only twice.
 Andy Dalton - QBNov. 2 - 1:15 am et
Sophomore quarterback for TCU, Andy Dalton, continued an impressive upward swing tonight against UNLV, throwing for 151 yards and three touchdowns in a 44-14 win over the Rebels in Las Vegas.
The passing numbers for Dalton weren't nearly as good as his last two games; still, he's thrown for 8 total touchdowns and no interceptions in that same span on time.

 Andy Dalton - QBOct. 16 - 6:45 pm et
ESPN is reporting that TCU quarterback Andy Dalton will start tonight against BYU.
We don't recommend starting Mr. Dalton in what has all the makings of a low-scoring affair. But Dalton should help the Horned Frogs control the ball on offense which would reduce the scoring opportunities for the BYU fantasy guys (Hall, Unga, Collie, Pitta).
 Marcus Jackson - QBOct. 11 - 11:45 pm et
Playing in place of the still injured Andy Dalton at quarterback for the TCU Horned Frogs, junior Marcus Jackson did not have the same degree of success today versus Colorado State he did last week against San Diego State. For the contest, Jackson threw for 166 yards and an interception, while running 19 times for just 54 yards on the ground.
Jackson's hold on the starting quarterback job just got a lot more tenuous, especially considering that the junior also managed to fumble five snaps for the game, one of which ended up in a turnover for the Horned Frogs.

 Aaron Brown - RBOct. 4 - 11:15 pm et
Head coach Gary Patterson of TCU noted after the Oklahoma game last week that senior tailback Aaron Brown would need a couple additional weeks to get back into the swing of things, this after missing the first three games of the season. After tonite's performance against San Diego State, we have to imagine it may be even longer than that before Brown begins to produce solid numbers once again, this as he carried just 10 times for 66 yards on the night.
Very little upside here, but at least we can say that Brown had a season-high tonite.

 Marcus Jackson - QBOct. 4 - 11:15 pm et
With quarterback Andy Dalton on the sidelines with an injury to his knee sustained last weekend against Oklahoma, junior Marcus Jackson had an excellent game this evening versus San Diego State, taking 27 carries for 131 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and going 10-of-19 passing for 115 yards and an additional score.
Dalton was available to play this weekend, but only on an emergency basis, noted head coach Gary Patterson. TCU didn't need it, however, with Jackson looking solid against the Aztecs. One has to wonder if there may be incentive for Patterson to consider a switch under center after tonite's game, particularly considering he hasn't been solid through the first five games that TCU has played this year.

 Andy Dalton - QBSep. 30 - 1:00 pm et
TCU starting quarterback Andy Dalton is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury suffered in Saturday's game against Oklahoma.
If for some reason you thought Dalton might be a good start this week against San Diego State this week, you might to change those plans.
