 Noel Devine - RBJan. 14 - 7:15 pm et
West Virginia running back Noel Devine and wide receiver Jock Sanders will return for their senior years instead of entering the 2010 NFL Draft.  "It's all about unfinished business on the field and in the classroom," Devine said in a statement released by the school. "I want to be the first member of my family to finish with a college degree, and I want to bring back a championship to Morgantown."
Probably a good decision for both.  Another strong year and NFL scouts will focus less about each player's respective size and focus more on production.

West Virginia junior running back Noel Devine said he was "not sure yet" with regards to the NFL Draft. Following the Gator Bowl loss to Florida State the speedster went on to say, "If I was an NFL scout I would be able to tell you that."
It appears likely that Devine will decide to leave Morgantown and give the draft a shot, however he has until January 15 to make his final decision.

 Noel Devine - RBDec. 22 - 4:00 pm et
"Right now I'm just focused on coming back and winning a national championship,'' West Virginia running back Noel Devine said.  Devine also said he has not submitted paperwork to have his draft stock analyzed by the NFL Advisory Committee.
Devine doesn't get the recognition he deserves after rushing for back-to-back 1200 yard seasons.  True he doesn't possess ideal NFL size, but he's a burner that could find a niche in the NFL.  He's not going to grow between now and next season, so his draft stock is not going to be markedly different now or in 2011.

Florida State has had trouble stopping the run this season, which is good news for running back Noel Devine.  On the flip side, the Seminoles will also look to establish the run with Jermaine Thomas.  This game will mark the last game for Bobby Bowden as the Seminoles head coach.

ESPN's Joe Schad says sources close to the situation are saying that Jarrett Brown (mild concussion) will start at quarterback for West Virginia against UConn on Saturday.
This is good news for the Mountaineers and those in Big East heavy leagues. Others should keep Brown off their fantasy rosters this week.

 Jarrett Brown - QBOct. 21 - 2:00 pm et
West Virginia quarterback Jarrett Brown (mild concussion) may play this Saturday versus UConn.  Brown practiced with the first team offense on Tuesday, and coach Bill Stewart said he will likely make a decision on the starter today.
Whether or not Brown plays, he is still a risky fantasy start against a solid UConn defense.  We would look elsewhere for quarterback production.

 Jarrett Brown - QBOct. 19 - 8:30 pm et
West Virginia could be without Jarrett Brown when they take on conference foe UConn on Saturday due to a concussion.  "I don't know anything about Jarrett other than [Sunday] we met with [trainer] Dave Kerns,'' Stewart said. "We seem to think ... well, it'll be day to day. I don't know if he'll play this week or not. We'll just have to wait and see.
Brown did not practice on Monday and the way teams have been handling quarterbacks after suffering a concussion, it seems likely that coach Bill Stewart will turn to true freshman Geno Smith versus the Huskies.

West Virginia freshman running back Ryan Clarke ran for two scores, and in doing so he provided a glimpse at what may be a career laden with short yardage scores.
The burly back is going to drive Noel Devine's owners nuts, while providing a great deal of value in leagues that place greater emphasis on touchdowns. He has very nice keeper potential.
