 Darius Terry - RBSep. 6 - 3:45 pm et
Darius Terry ran for 99 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries in Saturday's debut of the Wyoming no-huddle offense under new head coach Dave Christensen.
Wyoming has been among the worst in offensive production in recent years but they managed to score 29 points in their opener - more than double their 2008 scoring average.  Don't be surprised to see Terry, wide receiver David Leonard and others reach the endzone for the Cowboys this season.

 Jesson Salyards - TEAug. 19 - 8:30 am et
Wyoming tight ends Orlando Arnold and Jesson Salyards have cemented themselves as starters in new head coach Dave Christensen's Missouri-like offense.
The pair of tight ends will often line up split out in the slot position.  Christensen had a history of producing top fantasy tight ends as offensive coordinator for Missouri, so Arnold and Salyards are interesting sleeper prospects.

 Greg Bolling - WRJun. 29 - 10:00 am et
Wyoming wide receivers Greg Bolling and Donate Morgan have been suspended for violatinmg unspecified team rules.
Bolling, who is projected to be the Cowboys' top receiver this season, will miss the first two games against Weber State and Texas. Morgan, a back-up, will miss the Weber State game.

 Karsten Sween - QBApr. 30 - 11:45 am et
Karsten Sween sits atop Wyoming's recently released depth chart at quarterback.
If he can hold onto the job, Sween is a definite dark horse sleeper candidate. He is not a draftable commodity, but in head coach Dave Christensen's offense he is one to keep an eye on once the season begins.

 Karsten Sween - QBApr. 26 - 6:30 pm et
Wyoming quarterback Karsten Sween completed 16-of-34 passes for 154 yards with one touchdown and one interception Saturday in the Cowboys' final spring scrimmage.
Head coach Dave Christensen told reporters following the game that his staff will set a depth chart Monday afternoon, and indicated that Sween will be the top QB. Still, the Cowboys bring in two additional players under center in fall, adding to the three already in Laramie, which could make this a wide open race in the fall.

 Karsten Sween - QBApr. 16 - 8:30 pm et
Wyoming's offense was held scoreless in drills on Tuesday and new head coach Dave Christensen was not happy about it. "I found the defense ready to go, and I found the offense pretty pathetic," Christensen said.
While Wyoming's new offense is intriguing, keep in mind they still have a long way to go in implementing their system. This is still a team that finished dead last in scoring in 2008.

 Karsten Sween - QBApr. 3 - 10:00 pm et
Quarterback Karsten Sween led Wyoming's first team offense to three scores in Thursday's scrimmage. Sween completed 7-of-9 pass attempts for 72 yards and one TD.
Sween working with the first team is significant as former Missouri offensive coordinator Dave Christensen is now calling the shots for the Cowboys. Christensen's no-huddle attack makes Sween a sleeper candidate.

 Chris Stutzriem - QBMar. 25 - 5:00 pm et
Wyoming coach Dave Christensen announced that sophomore quarterback Chris Stutzriem will transfer from the program.
Due to personal reasons Stutzriem, who saw pretty significant action (threw 98 passes) in 2008, will look to move closer to his Oklahoma home.

 Adam Barry - QBMar. 9 - 9:45 am et
With former Missouri offensive coordinator Dave Christensen taking over as head coach at Wyoming, we'll be keeping tabs on the Cowboys quarterback battle this spring. Wyoming is set to kick off their spring practice on March 25.
Karsten Sween, Dax Crum and Chris Stutzriem rotated at quarterback last year. But redshirt freshman Adam Barry was the scout team hero. According to coaches he has a "cannon" for an arm, runs a 4.8 forty and played in a spread attack in high school. Incoming freshman Austyn Carta-Samuels and Robert Benjamin could also get in the mix this summer.

 Devin Moore - RBNov. 30 - 8:30 pm et
Sources say Wyoming will name Missouri offensive coordinator Dave Christensen as its new head coach.
The hire could have fantasy implications down the road as Christensen is sure to bring a similar style of offense to that run at Missouri.

 Devin Moore - RBNov. 23 - 10:45 pm et
Wyoming athletic director Tom Burman announced Sunday that they have fired head coach Joe Glenn.
Glenn finished with a record of 30-41 in six seasons as the Cowboys' head coach.

 Wynel Seldon - RBNov. 22 - 8:15 pm et
Generally, it is senior Devin Moore that leads the Wyoming rushing attack, but today against Colorado State, fellow senior Wynel Seldon proved the team's top yardage getter, taking 19 carries for 107 yards.
It's a rarity to see Seldon leading the way; today was only his second 100-yard game on the ground, and leaves with approximately half of Moore's overall yardage on the season.
 Chris Stutzriem - QBNov. 5 - 6:15 pm et
Wyoming redshirt freshman Chris Stutzriem will start at quarterback this weekend against Tennessee.
Junior (and starter) Karsten Sween is still recovering from a concussion suffered on October 25th, and while he may play, coach Joe Glenn has decided to go with Stutzriem. Neither Stutzriem or Sween is a good fantasy option.

 Devin Moore - RBNov. 2 - 1:00 am et
San Diego State found itself absolutely manhandled against the University of Wyoming run game, this as senior tailback Devin Moore rushed for 234 yards and three touchdowns this afternoon in a 35-10 win over the Aztecs.
The performance Moore had today was a career-high for the native of Indianapolis, Indiana; it also made for the third straight week the senior has broken the 100 yard mark in a single game, making the Wyoming back a potentially profitable choice for fantasy owners in the final weeks of the 2008 season. Nine games into the year, and Seldon now has over 1000 yards rushing.

 Karsten Sween - QBOct. 12 - 12:15 am et
Junior quarterback Karsten Sween of the Wyoming Cowboys was one of four who played under center tonight in the Cowboys' MWC matuchup with the Utah Utes.
Not a single one of the four who played quarterback for Wyoming found much success; Sween, the team's leading passer, went just 8-of-18 for 52 yards and was intercepted three times in the contest.

 Karsten Sween - QBSep. 30 - 4:30 pm et
Wyoming junior quarterback Karsten Sween will start this week's game against New Mexico.
Sween had spent the majority of the season behind Dax Crum, whose biggest problem has been showing an affinity for giving the ball back to the other team. Just learning the name Karsten Sween? Shame on you. And you call yourself a college fantasy guru.

 Devin Moore - RBSep. 27 - 10:00 pm et
Not much has gone well offensively for the Wyoming Cowboys this season, but senior tailback Devin Moore continues to be a solid producer out of the backfield, today carrying the ball 15 times for 114 yards and a touchdown against Bowling Green.
Moore isn't going to be fantasy owners best friend, by any means, but the fact that he has over the last three games averaged just over 118 yards rushing a contest leads us to think there might be favorable matchups for Wyoming ball carrier, particularly as conference play begins to take hold over the next couple of weeks.

 Devin Moore - RBSep. 13 - 10:00 pm et
In the third game of the season for the Wyoming Cowboys, senior tailback Devin Moore -- one-half of the tandem referred to as "Thunder" and "Lighting" in conjunction with teammate Wynell Seldon -- rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown on the day, the first such time any Wyoming running back has done so thus far in 2008.
The news is indeed exciting for Moore, but consider the level of opponent he achieved such statistics against -- North Dakota State. Both he and Seldon are excellent athletes, but on a team like the Cowboys, don't get much of an opportunity to break out for big days numberwise.

 Dax Crum - QBAug. 31 - 6:46 pm et
Junior college transfer and starting quarterback for the University of Wyoming Dax Crum had a successful debut Saturday against the Ohio Bobcats, going 14-of-22 for 111 yards, one touchdown and one interception on the day.
Crum wasn't exactly a deadly passing threat in the first game of his career at Wyoming, but served to lead the Cowboys on a 13-play, 84-yard drive for a score in the fourth quarter that sealed the game for UW. As predicted, the junior quarterback didn't put up fantasy quality numbers, but seems to have grasped the leadership role required of him amongst the Cowboys' offensive unit.
 Dax Crum - QBAug. 14 - 12:57 pm et
Neither incoming JUCO Dax Crum or returning Karsten Sween has done enough to establish himself as the number one guy.
This battle will likely go down to the wire, and we'll be here to report on what transpires.
