Eric McClure will return to Team Rensi's No. 24 Hefty car for the 2010 season in the Nationwide Series.

Eric McClure will be attempting his third career start at Kansas Speedway and his 102nd start in the Nationwide Series.
McClure’s rookie outing in 2007 warranted a 42nd-place finish after a transmission failure on lap 62 and in 2008, although able to finish, McClure finished in the 33rd position as a result of a steering box failure and a cut tire under green conditions. In two starts, McClure has only completed 64% of the laps and has one DNF.

At Richmond, Eric McClure started his 100th career Nationwide Series event in the 42nd position and finished 29th.
This finish propelled the Virginia driver to 16th in NASCAR driver standings. The 30-year-old driver will compete in his sixth NNS event at Dover International Speedway. His most successful outing came in May 2009 when he qualified in the 18th position, before finishing in the 23rd position. In five starts at the "Monster Mile", McClure has an average finish of 25.2 and has completed 93.7% of the total laps. - Eric McClure PR

Eric McClure returns to his home state for the second time this season to compete in his 100th career Nationwide Series event at Richmond International Raceway.
In 99 career starts, McClure has an average start of 35.4 and an average finish of 30.4. The Abingdon, Virginia native has competed in four events at the ¾-mile racing surface; he has a best start of 18th (May 2009) and finish of 32nd (May 2008). He has completed only 61% of the total laps at RIR as a result of two DNFs (mechanical failure and accident).

Team McClure Inc announced that Del Monte Foods will join the Rensi-Hamilton Racing family of partners during the 2009 season.
The #24 Ford, driven by Eric McClure, will sport the familiar green colors of the Del Monte brand in the upcoming Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International on August 8. McClure, who normally pilots the Hefty Odor Block Ford in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will be attempting his first race on a road course.

After crashing his primary car during time trials on Saturday at Gateway International Raceway, Eric McClure's Rensi-Hamilton Racing team worked diligently and quickly to prepare the back-up car for the 200-lap event.
After starting in the 42nd position, McClure struggled with the handling on the No. 24 Ford. Chassis adjustments made throughout the evening significantly improved the car’s handling allowing McClure to post a 23rd-place finish. With this finish, the RHR team remained in the 29th position in NASCAR owner standings.

Eric McClure will be competing in his 88th career NASCAR Nationwide Series race this weekend with the running of the Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.
Hefty® Brand, which has partnered with the Virginia driver since 2006, is based in Lake Forest, IL which is located on the outskirts of Chicago. This will be their third appearance at Chicagoland Speedway as a NASCAR team sponsor. The 30-year-old driver has a best start of 36th and finish of 32nd, both of which came in 2008.

Eric McClure and the No. 24 Rensi-Hamilton Racing (RHR) team started the NorthernTool.com 250 in the 38th position.
He struggled with the handling during the first long green flag run of the event, losing two laps to the race leader before adjustments were made to the car. During the final caution of the event, the shifter in the car came loose from the transmission and as a result, McClure lost three positions and finished 32nd. With this finish, the RHR team fell one position (28th) in the NASCAR owner standings.

Having not competed in Sprint Cup competition since the 2007 season finale, Morgan McClure Motorsports (MMM) will make a return to the circuit as they attempt the Aaron’s 499 at Talladega Superspeedway.
The 2.66-mile speedway is home to four of their 14 Sprint Cup career victories. Nationwide Series regular Eric McClure, will join forces with MMM, piloting the famed #4 Chevrolet for the Aaron’s 499 weekend. No stranger to MMM, the 30-year-old driver has competed in two Sprint Cup events and four Nationwide Series events for the organization, earning a best finish of 26th and 22nd respectively.

Eric McClure will compete in his 80th career NASCAR Nationwide Series event this weekend and his fifth under the lights at the one-mile Phoenix International Raceway.
His best start and finish at PIR was 31st and 29th respectively (April-2008). The Virginia native will be piloting Chassis # 43 in this weekend’s event; it was last run in Phoenix 2008 with a finish of 18th.

Eric McClure and the No. 24 team Ford started the O’Reilly 300 in the 25th position and ran has high as 26th before a broken axle relegated the team to finish in the 34th position.
After a quick visit (five caution laps) to the garage area to repair the broken axle, the car returned to the track on lap 164 and was shown in the 36th position. By returning to the track, the RHR team was able to gain two positions and finish the O’Reilly 300 in the 34th position. As a result, McClure lost four positions to 27th in NASCAR Nationwide Series Owner Points.

Eric McClure returns to his hometown track (Bristol) this weekend to compete in the Scotts Turf Builder 300, the site of his family’s first Sprint Cup win.
The 30-year-old driver will compete in his 77th NASCAR Nationwide Series event and his seventh at the "World’s Fastest Half Mile". He has a best start of 28th (March 2008) and a best finish of 24th (April 2007). The No. 24 Hefty® Odor Block™ Ford will be sporting the Food City logo on the lower rear quarter-panels and C-post in Saturday’s event. - TheHotLap.com

Eric McClure started the Stater Bros. 300 in the 38th position and ran as high as 27th before crossing the finish line in the 30th position.
"Our Hefty® Odor Block™ Ford was much better than I was today. I haven’t driven a ‘coil-bound’ setup very much, so I wasn’t sure what to expect and how the car was supposed to feel, but I made progress throughout the weekend, although the results might not show it. The team is so supportive and I appreciate the guys sticking with me as I learn their cars and some of the things I need to improve on, so I’m hopeful we will be much better next weekend in Vegas."

For the second consecutive season Eric McClure, driver of the Hefty® Odor Block™ Ford Fusion, and Waverly Property Group have partnered for the NASCAR Nationwide Series events at Daytona International Speedway.
Waverly Property Group, Daytona’s #1 independent real-estate company, with a focus on waterfront properties, will serve as an associate sponsor on the Rensi Hamilton Racing #24 Nationwide Series entry during both season events at DIS. The 2009 season will mark Waverly Property Group’s second year as a team sponsor in NASCAR and for McClure.

Ronnie Russell, president of Rensi-Hamilton Racing, announced today that Eric McClure will be joining the RHR organization for the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series season.
McClure will pilot a RHR Ford Fusion for a minimum of 33 scheduled events and will be given the support of the 2008 No. 25 team, including veteran crew chief Chris Wright. Since 2003, the Chilhowie, VA native has 73 NNS starts to his credit, as well as three Sprint Cup Series starts, with best finishes of 15th and 26th, respectively. The Hefty® brand with its new "Unscented" Odor Block™ technology will continue its relationship with McClure for the fourth consecutive season, serving as primary sponsor for the scheduled 33 events. Additionally, the team will carry the number 24, under which McClure competed in 2008.

Eric McClure’s No. 24 Chevrolet will be sporting an all-pink paint scheme for the event as Hefty® One Zip™ supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
McClure will compete in his second Nationwide Series event at Lowe’s Motor Speedway; also marking his 70th career series start. The team’s first outing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in May warranted a 29th-place finish. The 29-year-old competed in the Sprint Cup Showdown during the 2005 season for Bob Jenkins where he started 23rd and finished 24th. Tim Weiss will return as McClure’s crew chief for the event at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

Eric McClure will be competing in his 63rd NASCAR Nationwide Series start and his second on the 2-mile D-shaped oval Michigan International Speedway.
McClure’s first appearance at MIS came in 2004 where he started 39th and finished 33rd. Eric McClure: ‘We’re looking forward to some improvement based on out past NNS efforts at Michigan. We ran well there in an ARCA race in ’03 and almost made the Cup race in 2005 while beating a lot of cars, so it has always been a track I have liked. I haven’t been in the car for a couple of weeks so I’m excited to get back into the Hefty® brand Chevrolet and get going again."

Eric McClure has one previous start on the 1.25 mile oval Gateway International Raceway.
His rookie start at the speedway warranted a 37th place due to brake failure on lap 45 of the 200 lap event. McClure will be attempting his 60th career NASCAR Nationwide Series start. For the first time at Gateway, he is guaranteed a starting position in Saturday’s Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 via the team’s position in NASCAR Owners Standings.

Eric McClure will be making his 59th career NASCAR Nationwide Series start this weekend with the running of the Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.
For the first time in his career at Chicagoland Speedway, McClure will be locked in to Saturday’s race via NASCAR’s top-30 points rule. McClure’s only outing (2007) at the 1.5 mile speedway, showed a start of 43rd and a finish of 41st as a result of engine failure.

Eric McClure returns to his favorite style of racing this weekend to compete in his 58th career Nationwide Series event.
The 29-year-old has three previous starts at the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway. In three appearances at the World Center of Racing, McClure has a best start of 15th and best finish of 32nd (July 2005). In the series’ first visit in 2008, transmission troubles left McClure with a 34th-place finish.(EricMcClure.com)
