Ted Musgrave has excelled on concrete tracks during his career in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series; except Bristol.
He’s won at the 1-mile Dover and he has 8 consecutive top-ten finishes and the best average finish of any driver at the 1.33-mile Nashville. The one concrete track Musgrave has yet to tame is Bristol. In five career Bristol NCTS starts, Musgrave has recorded one top-five and two top-ten finishes. He claimed one pole at Bristol, which came in his first NCTS start in 2003. In addition to his NCTS starts, Musgrave has also raced in two Nationwide Series races, with a highest finish of third coming in 2003. Musgrave has also competed in 20 Cup races at Bristol, recording two top-ten finishes and completing 8938 laps.

Ted Musgrave kept his streak of consecutive top-10 finishes at Nashville Superspeedway alive by driving the #59 Team ASE/Harris Trucking Toyota to an 8th-place finish in Saturday’s Toyota Tundra 200 Craftsman Truck Series race.
It was his eighth straight top-ten finish in eight career NCTS starts at Nashville. It wasn’t a given for Musgrave as he had to rebound from an early spin and deal with lapped traffic with a truck that didn’t agree with dirty air to pick up his fourth top-10 finish of the 2008 season. Musgrave unofficially remains 15th in the NCTS championship standings.
