In his 64th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start, Timothy Peters scored his first victory at what he calls his home track, Martinsville Speedway.
Peters started the season with a single-truck team doing a lot with a little. By June he made the move to Red Horse Racing. In addition to his first win, he collected five top-five and 13 top-10 finishes and one pole. Peters ended his season eighth in the final championship standings. -NASCAR PR

Timothy Peters and the No. 17 Toyota Tundra team wins the O’Reilly team effort award after a 4th place finish in the Camping World Truck Series Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The O'Reilly Auto Parts "People, Service and Performance" award recognizes the team effort made both on the track and in the pits. The NCWTS driver who records the fastest lap time and lowest cumulative pit stop time (228.745 seconds) of the event and finishes on the lead lap wins the award.

Timothy Peters leads the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session at Homestead International Speedway.
Peters ran a quick lap of 168.418 mph in the No. 17 Strutmasters/Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra. No. 6 Colin Braun, No. 4 Kevin Harvick, No. 88 Matt Crafton and No. 13 Johnny Sauter rounded out the top 5 of the 33 trucks practicing for the NCWTS Ford 200. Derek White, at 148.108 mph in the No. 92 Chevrolet, was the slowest.

The Lucas Oil 150 will mark Timothy Peters’ first Camping World Truck Series start at Phoenix International Raceway.
Peters ran a Nationwide Series race at the track in 2007. He started 29th and finished 13th. He has experienced success on short tracks this season. He has earned four top-10’s this year on tracks one-mile and smaller including capturing his first win at Martinsville Speedway just three weeks ago. -Red Horse Racing

The WinStar World Casino 350 will mark Timothy Peters’ fourth Camping World Truck Series start at Texas Motor Speedway.
In three previous starts, Peters has earned one top-10 start and one top-15 finish. Earlier this season when he made the trip to the Lone Star State, he started 10th and finished 12th. He will be driving chassis # 138. In five races behind the wheel of that truck, Peters has earned a top-10 finish in each race, including three top-fives. -Red Horse Racing

The Mountain Dew 250 will mark Timothy Peters’ first Camping World Truck Series start at Talladega Superspeedway.
Peters ran an ARCA race at the Alabama 2.66 mile oval in 2006. He started 12th and finished 17th. Peters is no rookie to the mentally grueling challenges of restrictor plate racing. In two races at Daytona International Speedway, Peters earned a 12th place finish in 2006 and a 6th place finish at the 2009 season opener. - Red Horse Racing

Timothy Peters wins the Kroger 200, his first victory in 64 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.
This is the No. 1 Strutmasters/Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra driver's 12th top-10 finish in 2009. It is his fourth top-10 finish in eight races at Martinsville Speedway. The Danville, Virginia native moved up two spots to 7th in the 2009 NCWTS point standings after this race at his hometown track.

Danville, Virginia native Timothy Peters lives about 15 minutes from the famed Martinsville Speedway.
The Kroger 200 will mark Peters’ eighth start at Martinsville. In seven previous starts, he has earned five top-10 starts and three top-10 finishes. He has also led 46 laps. Peters already knows the way to Victory Lane, in 2005 he won a Late Model race at Martinsville Speedway. - Red Horse Racing

Timothy Peters moves into the 2009 series top ten after the September 26th Camping World Truck Series Las Vegas 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Peters started the No. 17 Strutmasters.com/Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra 24h in the lineup for Saturday’s race and finished 5h. This moved him up two spots to 9th in the standings after the 20th race of the season.

The Las Vegas 350 will mark Timothy Peters’ second start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
In only one previous start in 2005, Peters started 27th and finished 26th. Although he has not raced on the new speedway configuration, he logged laps on the redesigned 1.5-mile track during a NASCAR Nationwide Series test in 2007. - Red Horse Racing

Timothy Peters takes the biggest hit in the point standings after the Camping World Truck Series Heluva Good! 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Peters started the No. 17 Strutmasters/Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra 19th in the lineup. He was running two laps down to the leaders at the end and came across the finish line in 19th place, He dropped 3 spots to 11th in the 2009 CWTS standings. This was the biggest drop among drivers making all 19 races so far this season.

The Lucas Oil 200 will mark the first race at Iowa Speedway for both the Camping World Truck Series and Timothy Peters.
Peters has never even been to the state but is looking forward to the new experience. He has been strong on the short tracks this season so the 7/8 mile Newton, Iowa track should come naturally to him. In the four races on tracks smaller than one mile this season, Peters has earned two top-10 finishes at Memphis Motorsports Park and Bristol Motor Speedway.-Red Horse Racing

The EnjoyIllinois 225 will mark the first race at Chicagoland Speedway for both the Camping World Truck Series and Timothy Peters.
Peters has tested at the Illinois 1.5-mile several times, turning hundreds of laps on the truck in recent years. Although a short track racer at heart, Peters is strong on the intermediate tracks as well. He has earned six top-15 finishes, including four top-10’s in only nine intermediate track races this season.-Red Horse Racing

The O’Reilly 200 will mark Timothy Peters fifth Camping World Truck Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway.
In four previous starts Peters best finish came in 2005 when he finished 19th. He also earned two top-15 starts; he started 12th in 2006 and eighth in 2008. Peters will compete with chassis # 73, the same chassis Johnny Benson raced at Texas Motor Speedway where he started 15th and finished fourth. -Red Horse Racing

This is the No. 17 Strutmasters/Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra driver's first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series pole. His previous best starting position was fourth (twice), most recently at Nashville in 2006. This is his seventh top-10 start in 2009.
