 Devin Harris - GNov. 21 - 4:01 pm et
Devin Harris returned to action on Saturday, notching 12 points on 6-of-13 shooting, seven assists, two steals and three turnovers in 26 minutes.
A fine start for Harris, who should return to the starting lineup very soon. His minutes might increase slowly, but it's time to get him back into your starting lineups.
 Brook Lopez - CNov. 21 - 10:39 am et
Nets president Rod Thorn said recently that injuries don't excuse coach Lawrence Frank from leading the team to an 0-12 start.
"The reality is that we're not the only team that has people who are hurt," Thorn said. "Hopefully we'll get this turned around and win some games and it won't even be a point of contention." The Nets are about to embark on a west-coast roadtrip, and the calls for Frank's job will only get louder if the losses keep mounting.

 Courtney Lee - G/FNov. 21 - 10:31 am et
Nets guard Courtney Lee (groin) practiced on Friday but will not play in Saturday's game.
Lee, who has missed seven straight games, hopes to play against the Nuggets on Tuesday. He'll join Devin Harris, Brook Lopez and Chris Douglas-Roberts as one of the team's leading options on offense.

 Devin Harris - GNov. 21 - 10:25 am et
Devin Harris (groin) will come off the bench against the Knicks on Saturday.
There are no restrictions on his minutes, but the Nets don't want to push him too hard in his first game back from a nagging groin injury. He'll obviously improve the short-handed, winless Nets (0-12), though his return crushes the fantasy value of fill-in starter Rafer Alston.

 Tony Battie - F/CNov. 19 - 7:42 am et
Tony Battie (knee) may see his first minutes of the season next week.
Battie has had knee trouble since early in the preseason and has been taking things slow. It's highly doubtful that he will be worth considering even if he does see minutes in the Nets lineup.

 Courtney Lee - G/FNov. 19 - 7:30 am et
According to Nets president Rod Thorn, Courtney Lee (groin) will be back "Saturday or shortly thereafter".
Barring further setbacks it looks like Lee's about ready to hit the court again. You probably want to have someone else ready to play in his place but feel free to check Saturday if he's cleared to play.

 Devin Harris - GNov. 19 - 7:13 am et
Commenting on his availability, Devin Harris (groin) said he will "definitely play" in Saturday's game versus New York.
"It feels fine. No pain. There’s some tightness and soreness," Harris said. Expect to see his minutes down a bit due to conditioning, but it looks like he's ready to go. Feel free to have him in your lineup.

 Terrence Williams - G/FNov. 19 - 1:59 am et
Terrence Williams came off the bench Wednesday and had 20 points, 10 boards, three assists and four steals in a loss to the Bucks.
He got hot in the second quarter, hitting seven straight shots and scoring 16 of his 20 points. He'll be inconsistent all year, but already has three double-doubles on the young season.
 Chris Douglas-Roberts - G/FNov. 19 - 1:57 am et
Chris Douglas-Roberts set a career high for the second straight game with 31 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and a 3-pointer on 9-of-20 shooting as the Nets lost another game Wednesday to fall to 0-12 on the year.
He hit 12-of-14 free throws and if you happened to throw him in your lineup this week, he is giving owners a very pleasant surprise. Hopefully he can keep it up next week after Devin Harris returns from a groin injury.
 Bobby Simmons - G/FNov. 18 - 1:38 am et
Bobby Simmons returned from a personal absence on Tuesday and had three points and four boards in 21 minutes.
He has fallen out of favor in Jersey despite a slew of injuries.
 Eduardo Najera - FNov. 17 - 11:22 pm et
Eduardo Najera missed Tuesday's game with a sore back.
He's got a lot of nagging injuries and will be a risky fantasy play the rest of the way. The Nets are banged up enough that he deserves a look in very deep leagues, but only when he's playing. Consider him day-to-day.
 Chris Douglas-Roberts - G/FNov. 17 - 11:20 pm et
Chris Douglas-Roberts had career highs of 27 points and 12 rebounds in Tuesday's loss to the Pacers, dropping the Nets to 0-11 on the season.
CDR had been out with the flu but is clearly back. He might have been dropped in your league, and looks like an excellent pickup after this one.
 Rafer Alston - GNov. 17 - 11:18 pm et
Rafer Alston hit just 2-of-12 shots and zero threes for 14 points, seven boards, four assists and four steals in Tuesday's loss.
He had a recent triple-double, providing value for his owners, but Devin Harris is nearing a return. Once that happens, Alston will only be worth starting if Harris goes down again.

 Brook Lopez - CNov. 17 - 11:16 pm et
Brook Lopez had 26 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, a steal and five blocks in Tuesday's loss to the Pacers.
Yeah, he hit just 10-of-27 shots tonight, but he's going to have a big season in the middle for the Nets. Hopefully owners stuck with him through some poor performances, including Friday's 1-of-12 shooting night.
 Chris Douglas-Roberts - G/FNov. 17 - 2:49 pm et
Chris Douglas-Roberts will start Tuesday night's game against the Pacers.
This news comes as no surprise, with CDR spending the past couple of weeks recovering from swine flu. He said he's now at about 80%. Look for his play to improve as he gets back into a groove.

 Devin Harris - GNov. 16 - 10:00 pm et
Devin Harris practiced on Monday for the first time since the preseason. He said he felt "good" but won't play in Tuesday's game against the Pacers.
"I want to get a few more practices under my belt," Harris said. "I might shoot for Wednesday (at Milwaukee); it’s possible. But more realistic, it’s probably going to be Saturday." He also stressed that he would rather "take the time and miss games now so I can be 100%," which leaves the door open to another delay in his return.

 Courtney Lee - G/FNov. 16 - 6:16 pm et
Courtney Lee took part in Nets' practice on Monday, but appeared to still be limited by his groin injury.
He could possibly play this week, but he still seems like a very risky fantasy play. We'd recommend benching him for a healthier option if you can. In other words, start him at your own risk.

 Devin Harris - GNov. 16 - 6:13 pm et
Devin Harris returned to practice on Monday and felt good, but there's still no target date for his return to action.
"Felt good," he said. "Side-to-side movement felt good." However, he also said that he plans on sitting out until he's 100 percent, which means he is not likely to play any time soon. "I talked to Kiki (Vandeweghe) and the key thing is that me coming back and being reinjured doesn’t help the team. So I will take the time and miss the games now so I can be 100%."

 Brook Lopez - CNov. 14 - 11:36 pm et
Brook Lopez bounced back from Friday's 1-of-12 shooting night, finishing Saturday's loss to Miami with 17 points (8-of-18 FGs), nine rebounds and three blocks.
The difference? He went from playing against Dwight Howard to playing against Joel Anthony and Jamaal Magloire. Unfortunately his improved play couldn't prevent the hapless Nets from falling to 0-10 on the young season.
 Rafer Alston - GNov. 14 - 11:34 pm et
Rafer Alston followed up his first career triple-double with 10 points, three rebounds, three assists and three turnovers on Saturday.
The triple-double was nice, but hopefully nobody expected that production to last. He's a decent fill-in PG as long as Devin Harris is sidelined, but we wouldn't hesitate to cut him for a player with brighter long-term prospects.
