 Jarvis Hayes - FFeb. 9 - 2:18 pm et
Jarvis Hayes (shin) is expected to play against the Cavs on Tuesday.
Hayes has predictably not had a significant impact since being promoted to the starting lineup four games ago. He's playing 31 minutes a game, but is averaging just 10.3 points and 4.5 boards. Hayes is only on the radar in deep leagues.

 Yi Jianlian - F/CFeb. 9 - 2:15 pm et
Yi Jianlian is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Cavs because of a sore right shoulder.
Yi says he hurt the shoulder back on Feb. 2 but woke up yesterday morning in pain. If he can't go, Kris Humphries will start and make a decent fantasy spot start.

 Keyon Dooling - GFeb. 9 - 2:14 pm et
Keyon Dooling is expected to start in place of Devin Harris (shoulder) against the Cavs on Tuesday.
Dooling has started five games this season and is averaging 10.2 points, 5.4 assists and 1.4 treys in those contests. He'll face a very stiff defensive challenge tonight in a game that figures to be an absolute bloodbath. We expect Harris to sit again on Wednesday, meaning Dooling should start in a much easier matchup with the Bucks.

 Devin Harris - GFeb. 9 - 2:08 pm et
Devin Harris (sprained AC joint) says he probably won't play against the Cavs on Tuesday.
The Nets play Wednesday night in Milwaukee before mercifully taking a few days off for the All-Star break. We wouldn't be surprised if Harris rests tomorrow also. With Nets record at 4-46, Harris is an obvious shutdown candidate due to all his nicks. Keyon Dooling draws another start tonight.

 Chris Douglas-Roberts - G/FFeb. 9 - 1:05 pm et
Chris Douglas-Roberts is expected to play Tuesday night despite leaving Saturday's game with back spasms.
CDR has lost his starting job to Jarvis Hayes anyway. He's off the fantasy radar.

 Jarvis Hayes - FFeb. 8 - 3:25 pm et
Jarvis Hayes said Monday that he plans on playing through a shin injury.
He doesn't have much fantasy value, but it doesn't sound like Saturday's injury will cause him to miss time.

 Devin Harris - GFeb. 8 - 3:24 pm et
Devin Harris is "50-50" to play on Tuesday against the Cavaliers due to his shoulder injury.
Consider him a game-time decision for now and start him at your own risk.

 Chris Douglas-Roberts - G/FFeb. 8 - 10:51 am et
Nets president Rod Thorn doesn't expect to make any trades before the Feb. 18 deadline, specifically saying, "We're not looking to trade Chris [Douglas-Roberts]."
CDR is sidelined by back spasms at the moment, but his role has dwindled throughout the season and recently he's been filling a small role off the bench. A trade might revive his fantasy fortunes but we're not holding our breath.

 Devin Harris - GFeb. 8 - 8:58 am et
Devin Harris sprained the AC joint in his left shoulder and is listed as day-to-day.
We wouldn't be surprised if Harris sits out through the All-Star break. He couldn't lift his arm above all the way over his head on Saturday night and it's the same shoulder that he sprained last season. This sprain is only a Grade I while last year's was a Grade III, but Harris was already nicked up coming in. Keyon Dooling will start if Harris sits on Tuesday.

 Chris Douglas-Roberts - G/FFeb. 7 - 9:48 am et
Chris Douglas-Roberts left Friday's game against the Celtics early with back spasms, leaving him day-to-day, and could be a trade candidate for the Nets.
The Nets are in discussions with several teams about the swingman, who has struggled with losing in Jersey. Memphis is reportedly interested in acquiring CDR, which would help clear up more minutes for Courtney Lee and Terrence Williams.

 Bobby Simmons - G/FFeb. 7 - 9:43 am et
If the Nets are unable to work out a trade to move Bobby Simmons and Tony Battie, both veterans are likely to be waived after the trade deadline.
Simmons hasn't played meaningful minutes since December and has a potentially valuable expiring contract. The Nets will set him free to sign with a contender if they're unable to move him.

 Jarvis Hayes - FFeb. 7 - 1:01 am et
Nets forward Jarvis Hayes badly bruised his shin on Saturday but did not break any bones.
A deep bruise can still sideline players, so think twice before deploying Hayes (already a shaky fantasy option) in the shortened upcoming All-Star week. Hopefully we'll get an official timetable on Sunday.

 Devin Harris - GFeb. 7 - 12:57 am et
Devin Harris reportedly sprained his left shoulder in Saturday's collison, and he is not expected to miss significant time.
Whew. We're waiting for an official report before declaring him completely out of the woods, but this is still a very encouraging early report. Keep him sidelined until we have an update from the team, but suddenly Keyon Dooling is a much less attractive pickup.

 Jarvis Hayes - FFeb. 6 - 10:59 pm et
Nets forward Jarvis Hayes left Saturday's game after injuring his left leg in a collision with teammate Devin Harris.
Hayes was helped off the court and we should have an update on his condition before long. If he misses any games, expect his minutes to be divvied out among Terrence Williams, Kris Humphries and Chris Douglas-Roberts.
 Devin Harris - GFeb. 6 - 10:57 pm et
Devin Harris appeared to injure his left shoulder while fighting for a loose ball with one minute left in Saturday's game. He needed to be helped into the Nets' locker room.
While we can only hope that this isn't serious, our instincts (especially where Harris is concerned) tell us otherwise. Feel free to scoop up Keyon Dooling, while Harris' owners must brace themselves for a few more DNPs -- the Nets play Tuesday at Cleveland.

 Devin Harris - GFeb. 6 - 10:37 pm et
Devin Harris had his best statistical game in recent memory on Saturday --21 points (7-of-12 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), three 3-pointers, five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two blocks.
Harris only had one turnover in nearly 40 minutes and is slowly starting to resemble the All-Star his fantasy owners are craving -- in three February games he was averaging 18.7 points and 10.0 assists. The question, as usual, is can he stay healthy?
 Brook Lopez - CFeb. 5 - 10:53 pm et
Brook Lopez led the Nets with 19 points on 10-of-19 shooting in Friday's loss to the Celtics.
He didn't have a block tonight. All five Nets starters scored in double figures, but they didn't have enough for the Celts.
 Kris Humphries - FFeb. 3 - 10:02 pm et
Kris Humphries came off the bench for 13 points, 11 boards and a block in 26 minutes on Wednesday.
Jarvis Hayes is currently starting and played 36 minutes tonight for 11 points and five rebounds, but Humphries still looks like the better fantasy option from where we sit.

 Courtney Lee - G/FFeb. 3 - 9:59 pm et
Courtney Lee hit 6-of-12 shots for 14 points, four rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's loss.
Lee scored 15 in his previous game and 19 against the Wizards on January 29. He does have one dud mixed in his last four outings but is due to get solid minutes in the second half of the season. He's heating up and should be grabbed if he's still available in your league.
 Yi Jianlian - F/CFeb. 3 - 9:52 pm et
Yi Jianlian hit 7-of-14 shots for 15 points, seven rebounds, a steal and a block in Wednesday's loss to the Raptors.
Yi hit just 1-of-12 shots on Tuesday but looked much better tonight. He's been higly inconsistent all year, so owners have to be ready for some bad to go along with the good.
