 Reggie Bush - RBFeb. 9 - 11:34 am et
Add Sports Illustrated's Don Banks to the list of people that think Reggie Bush will be back with the Saints next season.
There's been a lot of talk about Bush being cut due to his $8M salary, but we highly doubt that will happen. ESPN's Adam Schefter and beat writer Mike Triplett have already said that coach Sean Payton values Bush too much and winning the Super Bowl can only add to the chances of him being back. Look for Bush to get his 10-15 touches per game next season in New Orleans.

 Scott Fujita - LBFeb. 9 - 11:29 am et
The Saints will likely try to retain impending unrestricted free agent LB Scott Fujita, according to Sports Illustrated's Don Banks.
Fujita will be 31 by next season but he's the kind of glue guy that led the Saints to the title. The Saints will likely get younger at the position through the draft but we'd expect Fujita to remain the starter next season. He had 58 tackles in 11 regular season games and added 11 more in three playoff games.

 Mark Brunell - QBFeb. 8 - 4:58 pm et
Impending free agent Mark Brunell says he has not begun to contemplate retirement yet.
Brunell is savoring the moment after getting his first Super Bowl ring as New Orleans' backup for Drew Brees. Now 40, Brunell doesn't figure to draw any interest if he were to test the free agent market. He managed just 102 yards and an interception on 29 attempts in his lone start of the regular season.

 Darren Sharper - DBFeb. 8 - 9:32 am et
When asked about his plans for next season, impending unrestricted free agent Darren Sharper said "repeat. repeat."
We assume this means Sharper wants to return to New Orleans, and why shouldn't he? He revived his career in 2009, going from a guy that people thought was done to a candidate for Defensive Player of the Year. He'll be 35 before next season is over, but we'd be surprised if the Saints didn't bring him back.

 Garrett Hartley - KFeb. 8 - 9:16 am et
Garrett Hartley became the first kicker to make three field goals of 40+ yards in one Super Bowl.
Hartley had ice in his veins as he split the uprights on all three of his chances from 44 yards out or more. He also nailed the game-winner in overtime of the NFC Championship game and went 9-for-11 in five regular season games. He'll return next season and will be one of the first fantasy kickers off the board.
 Lance Moore - WRFeb. 7 - 10:47 pm et
Lance Moore caught two passes for 21 yards in the Saints' Super Bowl XLIV win against the Colts.
Moore played more than usual, but remained no better than a fourth receiver a season after leading the Saints in all receiving categories. Moore will be back in New Orleans as a restricted free agent this offseason, but has some serious depth chart climbing to do to get back on the fantasy radar. And we wouldn't bet that he'll pass Robert Meachem or Devery Henderson.
 Robert Meachem - WRFeb. 7 - 10:41 pm et
Robert Meachem caught just two passes for six yards in the Saints' Super Bowl win over the Colts.
After a five-game regular season stretch that saw Meachem score some eight touchdowns combined, he took a clear backseat to Devery Henderson and Marques Colston in the playoffs. While there have been signs that the light is flipping on for Meachem, he remains too streaky for WR3 reliability in fantasy leagues and will stay in a rotation with Henderson next season.
 Jeremy Shockey - TEFeb. 7 - 10:39 pm et
Jeremy Shockey caught three passes for 13 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Super Bowl win over Indianapolis.
Shockey played clearly ahead of David Thomas, who caught just one ball for nine yards, and finally appeared healthy. Still, Thomas shows enough promise to threaten some of Shockey's passing-down snaps in 2010. The position offers extreme depth in fantasy leagues. Shockey should only be targeted as a TE2.

 Devery Henderson - WRFeb. 7 - 10:32 pm et
Devery Henderson caught seven passes for 63 yards in the Saints' Super Bowl win over the Colts.
Henderson appeared to lose his No. 2 receiver job to Robert Meachem around midway through the season, but clearly reclaimed it during the stretch run and playoffs. Still, Meachem and Henderson are going to stay in a rotation next year, which caps the upsides of both situational deep threats.
 Mike Bell - RBFeb. 7 - 10:26 pm et
Mike Bell had just two carries for four yards in the Saints' Super Bowl win over the Colts.
Bell was used in goal-line situations initially, but failed to execute and rode the pine for the rest of the game. After appearing to be a comparable, if not better option than Pierre Thomas early in the year, Bell fell apart down the stretch after aggravating a knee injury. An impending restricted free agent, the Saints may look for an upgrade this offseason.
 Marques Colston - WRFeb. 7 - 10:21 pm et
Marques Colston caught seven balls for 83 yards in the Saints' Super Bowl win over Indianapolis.
Colston had a big drop early, but made the Saints' longest reception on a 27-yarder to set up Pierre Thomas' third-quarter touchdown. Though Colston's fantasy ceiling is slightly limited by the Saints' laundry list of explosive weapons, he'll remain an attractive end-game WR1 pick in 2010 fantasy drafts.
 Reggie Bush - RBFeb. 7 - 10:16 pm et
Reggie Bush ran for 25 yards on five carries and caught four balls for 38 yards in the Saints' Super Bowl XLIV win.
Bush showed his quickness on underneath routes over the middle, but the Saints relied heavily on the pass, limiting his carries. Pierre Thomas led the backfield with 15 touches compared to Bush's nine. While Bush can be a difference maker with the ball in his hands, the Saints have to determine this spring whether a role player is worth the $8M salary he's scheduled to receive.
 Pierre Thomas - RBFeb. 7 - 10:09 pm et
Pierre Thomas ran for 30 yards on nine carries and caught six passes for 55 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' Super Bowl win.
The Saints turned to Thomas in goal-line situations after Mike Bell struggled there, though it's not necessarily a sign of things to come. New Orleans may upgrade their backfield talent this offseason, as they considered doing last April. Still, Thomas remains a solid RB2 "hold" in keeper leagues as clearly the most complete back on the Saints' roster.
 Drew Brees - QBFeb. 7 - 9:54 pm et
Drew Brees completed 32-of-39 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns as the Saints won Super Bowl XLIV, 31-17 over Indianapolis.
After a sluggish start, Brees was nearly perfect for the final three quarters. Though the Saints never got the deep ball working, Brees picked apart the Colts' secondary underneath, was highly efficient in the red zone, and the Saints relied heavily on the pass. They called 39 pass plays compared to 18 runs. Brees is expected to receive a large raise this offseason. He'll return as a shoe-in top-three fantasy quarterback next season.
 Lynell Hamilton - RBFeb. 7 - 4:45 pm et
Saints declared RB Lynell Hamilton, LB Anthony Waters, WR Adrian Arrington, TEs Darnell Dinkins and Tory Humphrey, third QB Chase Daniel, OL Jamar Nesbit, and DL Paul Spicer inactive for Super Bowl XLIV.
Hamilton is the only injured player on New Orleans' roster.
 Randall Gay - DBFeb. 6 - 7:20 pm et
Saints CB Randall Gay (illness) and RB Lynell Hamilton (ankle) missed Saturday's walk-through.
Coach Sean Payton said he expects Gay to be fine by game time. As the Saints' nickel back, he'll see plenty of action against the Colts' three-receiver sets. It's not looking as good for Hamilton, so Pierre Thomas could have a better shot at goal-line work.

 Lynell Hamilton - RBFeb. 5 - 5:03 pm et
Saints RB Lynell Hamilton (ankle) and CB Randall Gay (foot, illness) were the only New Orleans players held out of practice Friday.
Gay, and 18 other Saints, are listed as probable for Super Bowl XLIV. Gay is fully expected to play in the game as New Orleans' nickel back. Hamilton, a fourth-stringer/special teamer, doesn't appear likely to dress out.

 Reggie Bush - RBFeb. 5 - 10:42 am et
Dolphins beat writer Omar Kelly passes along "buzz" from Miami that Reggie Bush will end playing for former USC coach Pete Carroll in Seattle "after he's cut" by the Saints.
Carroll has only been in the league for a month, and he's already been linked to Matt Leinart, LenDale White, and Reggie Bush rumors. Bush would first have to get cut by the Saints, which isn't close to a sure thing. He may be asked to restructure, but Sean Payton obviously values him as a versatile offensive weapon and punt returner. We wouldn't put too much stock in the "buzz."

 Lynell Hamilton - RBFeb. 4 - 6:34 pm et
Saints RB Lynell Hamilton (ankle) missed practice again Thursday.
"He's feeling better," Payton said of Hamilton. "I'm hopeful of him playing." Hamilton has finally shed his walking boot and begun jogging on the side with trainers. Don't expect to see him in a short-yardage role Sunday.

 Jeremy Shockey - TEFeb. 4 - 6:32 pm et
Jeremy Shockey (knee) participated in a limited practice for a second straight day Thursday.
Even with the limited participation, Shockey is obviously feeling better this week. Expect him to start in the Super Bowl, though his role in the passing game may be diminished.
