 Felix Jones - RBNov. 20 - 11:02 am et
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reiterated that he wants to see the ball in Felix Jones' hands more often.
"We need to get him in situations outside, or where he has a little space, and we'll see some of that," Jones said. Coach Wade Phillips said the same thing earlier in the week before admitting that Felix's struggles in pass protection have kept him off the field. Expect to see a few more touches per game now that Jones is healthy, but he won't have a significant impact on Marion Barber's value.

 Doug Free - TNov. 19 - 11:59 am et
The Cowboys confirmed that Doug Free will start at right tackle Sunday in place of Marc Colombo (broken leg).
Free is athletic and talented, but the Cowboys will miss the continuity Colombo brought. Colombo had started 57 consecutive games for Dallas while Free has zero career starts.

 Alan Ball - DBNov. 18 - 5:32 pm et
Alan Ball -- not Patrick Watkins -- will be Dallas' starting free safety until Ken Hamlin (high ankle sprain) returns.
Ball, a lanky (6'1/176) former seventh-round pick out of Illinois, has played almost strictly on special teams to this point in his career. He has good range as a former cornerback, but isn't much of a waiver add in IDP leagues.

 Felix Jones - RBNov. 18 - 9:55 am et
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips admitted that Felix Jones' struggles in pass protection keep him off the field.
Phillips says he wants to feature Jones more, but prefers to have Marion Barber or Tashard Choice out there when pass protection is needed. "He's just not as adept at it yet," Phillips said. Jones, coming off a three-touch game, should be locked onto fantasy benches barring injury to MB3 or Choice.

 Marion Barber - RBNov. 18 - 9:48 am et
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips admitted that his offense needs to be more balanced.
The Cowboys called just three rushing plays in the second half of the Week 10 loss to the Packers and they are running just 43.1 percent of the time on the season. Marion Barber is starting to look explosive again after his early-season quad injury. Look for offensive coordinator Jason Garrett to feature the run more against the 'Skins this week, making Barber a nice RB2.

 Felix Jones - RBNov. 17 - 10:11 am et
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said "we need to feature" Felix Jones more.
Since coming back from his knee injury in Week 7, Jones has averaged just 6.5 touches per game on offense. He's a big play threat, but the Cowboys also have to get Marion Barber and Tashard Choice their touches. Keep Jones reserved until we see him have a bigger role on the field.

 Robert Brewster - TNov. 16 - 5:46 pm et
Cowboys transferred OL Robert Brewster (torn pectorals) to reserve/PUP, ending his season.
The Cowboys were never counting on Brewster to play this season after he tore his pecs muscle in minicamps. The 2009 third-round pick projects as a future "swing" guard/tackle, and should make the final roster in 2010.

 Marion Barber - RBNov. 16 - 4:27 pm et
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips revealed that Marion Barber's fractured thumb led to reduced snaps in the second half of Sunday's loss.
Barber had four carries for 27 yards in the first quarter, but the thumb was giving him problems in pass protection. MB3 finished with just eight touches, although Felix Jones (three) and Tashard Choice (four) didn't emerge as major threats to his workload. Barber isn't in danger of sitting out Week 11.

 Ken Hamlin - DBNov. 16 - 2:13 pm et
Cowboys FS Ken Hamlin is out 2-4 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
Hamlin's loss isn't major for Dallas' fantasy defense because he hasn't made a big play all year. Pat Watkins will take over opposite Gerald Sensabaugh.

 Marc Colombo - TNov. 16 - 1:23 pm et
Cowboys RT Marc Colombo is out at least six games after undergoing surgery to repair torn ligaments in his ankle Monday.
He needed surgery on his high ankle sprain, but not on his fractured fibula. The team won't place Colombo on injured reserve in hopes of having him back for the playoffs. Doug Free, who is highly athletic and projects as a strong pass protector, will stand in. Free has zero career starts, however.

 Jason Witten - TENov. 16 - 11:28 am et
The Packers used Charles Woodson to cover Jason Witten in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.
Witten was held to five catches for 47 yards and admitted he couldn't get open. Defenses are keying on the tight end and his season-high for yardage is 77. Witten is probably the biggest disappointment at the position this season.

 Marc Colombo - TNov. 15 - 10:12 pm et
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips isn't ruling RT Marc Colombo out for the season despite suffering a fractured fibula and high ankle sprain in Week 10.
"He's not necessarily out for the season. That remains to be seen," Phillips said. Colombo will have surgery Monday. Dallas will keep him on the inactive lost for as long as possible, but he won't return before the playoffs.

 Tony Romo - QBNov. 15 - 8:12 pm et
Tony Romo completed 24-of-39 passes for 251 yards, one TD, and one interception in Dallas' Week 10 loss. He also scrambled for six yards.
The Packers brought constant heat, sacking Romo five times and forcing him to fumble twice. The second was recovered by Green Bay at Dallas' four-yard line, leading to a Packers touchdown. Romo falls to 13-1 lifetime in the month of November. He's still showing excellent accuracy and mostly sound decision making, but has a difficult matchup against Washington in Week 11.
 Martellus Bennett - TENov. 15 - 8:02 pm et
Seeing two targets against Green Bay, Martellus Bennett caught just one ball for six yards in Week 10.
Bennett has caught more than two passes in a game just once all year. Despite otherworldly talent, the tight end isn't worth a fantasy roster spot.
 Felix Jones - RBNov. 15 - 8:00 pm et
Felix Jones had just three carries for six yards in Week 10.
So much for an "increased role on offense." Jones continued to return kicks opposite Kevin Ogletree and isn't even close to being a flex play.
 Tashard Choice - RBNov. 15 - 7:56 pm et
Tashard Choice ran for 13 yards on three carries and caught a nine-yard pass in Week 10 against Green Bay.
Choice played second fiddle to Marion Barber (eight touches) in this one, getting the ball once more than Felix Jones. He needs another Barber injury to matter in fantasy leagues, however, and is merely an MB3 handcuff.
 Patrick Crayton - WRNov. 15 - 7:55 pm et
Patrick Crayton caught four balls for 52 yards in Week 10.
Crayton saw seven targets, mostly in the slot. He was not heavily thrown to by Tony Romo until the Cowboys fell behind, however. Crayton is only borderline roster-able in 10- and 12-team fantasy leagues.
 Marion Barber - RBNov. 15 - 7:53 pm et
Marion Barber ran five times for 26 yards and caught three balls for 11 yards in the Cowboys' Week 10 loss.
Barber led Dallas in touches (Tashard Choice got four and Felix Jones three), but his workload was adversely impacted because Dallas fell behind. MB3 looked quick on his runs, but having two more-than-adequate "change of pace" runners behind him will take its toll on his production in a game that plays out like this. Barber should stay in lineups in Week 11 vs. Washington.
 Jason Witten - TENov. 15 - 7:50 pm et
Jason Witten caught five balls for 27 yards in Week 10.
He still doesn't have a catch over 22 yards. Witten, who was banged up on the sideline with a possible stinger late in the game, saw nine targets. They were all around the line of scrimmage, crushing his chances of making a big play. He now faces a Redskins team that covers TEs as well as anyone.
 Roy Williams - WRNov. 15 - 7:48 pm et
Roy E. Williams caught five balls for 105 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 10 loss to Green Bay.
Williams is benefiting from the heavy attention Miles Austin now commands. He tied Austin and Jason Witten for a team-high nine targets and posted his first 100-yard receiving effort in 25 games. It wasn't all gravy for Roy E., however. He fumbled after a 41-yard catch and had a key drop at the start of the third quarter. Still, consider him a WR2 going forward. He has 180 yards in his last two games, and two TDs in his last three.
