 Russell Allen - LBNov. 20 - 10:00 am et
Jags LB Russell Allen is expected to start in place of Justin Durant (concussion) this week.
Allen has reportedly impressed the Jags with his "mobility and tackling ability" as a reserve, but he's not on Durant's level. Updgrade the matchup for Marshawn Lynch, who is still just a RB2/flex with Fred Jackson eating into his workload.

 Gerald Alexander - DBNov. 20 - 9:45 am et
In addition to CB Rashean Mathis (groin), the Jags may also be without MLB Justin Durant (concussion) and SS Gerald Alexander (shoulder) in Week 11.
The Bills offense may have a fighting chance this week even with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. The Jags are talking about playing Reggie Nelson at corner again, which would be great news for Lee Evans in a highly favorable matchup.

 Rashean Mathis - DBNov. 19 - 9:14 am et
Jaguars CB Rashean Mathis (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.
It's unclear exactly how long Mathis will be out, but it could be multiple games. When Mathis missed the Week 8 loss to the Titans with a finger injury, FS Reggie Nelson shifted to corner. We would say to upgrade the Bills passing game, but the arm of Ryan Fitzpatrick negates any advantage gained here.

 Justin Durant - LBNov. 18 - 4:40 pm et
Jaguars MLB Justin Durant is unlikely to play in Week 11 against the Bills after suffering a concussion in last week's win.
The injury wasn't revealed until Jack Del Rio's Wednesday post-practice news conference. Durant has been a solid IDP, averaging nearly nine tackles a game. His absence would slightly upgrade Marshawn Lynch's matchup.

 Jarett Dillard - WRNov. 17 - 4:34 pm et
Jaguars placed WR Jarett Dillard on season-ending injured reserve with a broken ankle.
Dillard suffered the injury against the Jets last week. While he finished his rookie season with just six catches, there were indications that Dillard had passed third-rounder Mike Thomas for the third receiver job heading into Week 10. He'll likely battle for the position again next summer.

 Nate Hughes - WRNov. 17 - 4:27 pm et
Jaguars activated WR Nate Hughes from the practice squad.
Hughes was cut in September after dropping two potential touchdown passes in a loss to the Cardinals. He's getting a second chance with Jarett Dillard (broken ankle) out for the season.

 Tiquan Underwood - WRNov. 17 - 11:06 am et
Tiquan Underwood will step in as the Jaguars No. 4 receiver with Jarett Dillard (broken ankle) out for the season.
Underwood, a seventh-round pick, ended up on the practice squad out of training camp. He's played in two games this season but won't have an impact on offense as Dillard had just eight targets all year before going down.

 Rashean Mathis - DBNov. 16 - 5:42 pm et
Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio revealed Monday that CB Rashean Mathis is in danger of missing multiple games with a strained groin.
Mathis' loss is a big blow to an already porous secondary. The Jags lack depth at corner, and may be forced to move FS Reggie Nelson there again with Sean Considine or Brian Russell at free safety. This pass defense will remain a highly favorable matchup for opposing quarterbacks going forward.

 Maurice Jones-Drew - RBNov. 16 - 11:34 am et
With 123 yards Sunday, Maurice Jones-Drew became the first running back to top 100 rushing yards against a Rex Ryan defense since Larry Johnson accomplished the feat in 2006.
Much of that can be attributed to the loss of NT Kris Jenkins (ACL), but Jones-Drew is enjoying an excellent season. He leads the league with 12 touchdowns while averaging 120 yards per game and 5.1 yards per carry in his first stint as the Jags' every-down back.

 Maurice Jones-Drew - RBNov. 15 - 10:16 pm et
Maurice Jones-Drew apologized to his fantasy football owners for kneeling down at the one-yard line at the end of Sunday's win.
"To my fantasy owners, I apologize," Jones-Drew said. "I have myself today, so it was a tough call. But whatever it takes for a victory, that's all that counts." The kneel-down essentially clinched the win for Jacksonville, much like MoJo's 630 total yards and seven TDs in the past four games have likely clinched victories for his fantasy owners over the last month.

 Mike Sims-Walker - WRNov. 15 - 10:01 pm et
The Jets adjusted at halftime of Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, assigning Darrelle Revis to exclusively cover Mike Sims-Walker.
Rex Ryan cost himself 40 yards and seven points by not employing the strategy in the first half. Sims-Walker was held to nine yards in the final two quarters after beating Lito Sheppard for his 26-yard touchdown in the second quarter and Dwight Lowery for his 14-yard first-quarter reception.

 Jarett Dillard - WRNov. 15 - 4:31 pm et
Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio revealed after Sunday's game that rookie Jarett Dillard suffered a season-ending broken leg/ankle.
Dillard went down on his only catch of the game and finishes his rookie year with 106 yards on six grabs. He was giving fellow first-year wideout Mike Thomas a run for the third receiver job prior to the devastating injury.

 Maurice Jones-Drew - RBNov. 15 - 4:27 pm et
Maurice Jones-Drew rushed 23 times for 123 yards and one touchdown in Week 10 against the Jets, passing up a second score in the fourth quarter to burn clock before a last-second field goal attempt.
Much like Brian Westbrook two years ago Jones-Drew slid to a stop at the one-yard line rather than go in for a touchdown that would have left the Jets with time for a comeback. The big difference is that the Jaguars still trailed by one point at the time, leaving it up to Josh Scobee to nail a chip-shot for the win. His fantasy owners don't have a whole lot of room to complain, because MJD now has 630 total yards and seven touchdowns in the past four games.
 David Garrard - QBNov. 15 - 4:21 pm et
David Garrard rushed for an 11-yard touchdown and completed 16-of-26 passes for 221 yards and one touchdown in Week 10 against the Jets.
Garrard had a fantastic first half, going 10-of-14 for 142 yards and a score while scrambling for a touchdown, but then went just 6-of-12 for 79 yards in the second half. He avoided an interception for the sixth time in nine games, but the Jaguars' run-heavy approach keeps his upside limited.
 Torry Holt - WRNov. 15 - 4:18 pm et
Torry Holt caught two passes for 24 yards in Week 10 against the Jets.
Holt has a grand total of just 78 yards over the past three games, falling behind Mike Thomas as the second option after Mike Sims-Walker.
 Mike Sims-Walker - WRNov. 15 - 4:16 pm et
Mike Sims-Walker caught three passes for 49 yards and one touchdown in Week 10 against the Jets.
Sims-Walker turned a quick slant into a 26-yard touchdown in the second quarter, busting through a pair of tackles. Ignoring his healthy scratch for missing bed check in Week 5, he now has 603 yards and five touchdowns on 39 grabs over his past seven games.
 Mike Thomas - WRNov. 15 - 4:13 pm et
Mike Thomas caught four passes for 46 yards in Week 10 against the Jets.
Thomas has had at least four catches in four of the past six games, with a pair of clunkers mixed in.
 Rashean Mathis - DBNov. 15 - 3:36 pm et
Rashean Mathis left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with a leg strain.
Mathis was having a very strong game before the injury, but his return is questionable.
 Jarett Dillard - WRNov. 15 - 1:49 pm et
Jarett Dillard left Sunday's game in the second quarter with an ankle injury.
Dillard went down after a nice catch and was carted to the locker room.
 Gerald Alexander - DBNov. 15 - 11:47 am et
Jaguars declared S Gerald Alexander, WR Tiquan Underwood, DB Courtney Greene, LB Adam Seward, DL Derek Landri, OL Maurice Wiliams, TE Ernest Wilford and LB Greg Peterson inactive for Week 10 against the Jets.
Alexander briefly overtook Sean Considine as the starting strong safety, but the Jaguars have reversed that switch. Maurice Jones-Drew (knee) is active, as expected.
