 Mike Vrabel - LBNov. 20 - 12:07 pm et
Chiefs OLB Mike Vrabel is out indefinitely with a knee injury.
Beat reporter Kent Babb believes it's serious, twittering that he'd "count (Vrabel) out for Sunday. And the next Sunday. And maybe the next Sunday, too." Vrabel has one sack in nine starts, so his loss isn't significant.

 Bobby Wade - WRNov. 19 - 11:20 am et
Chiefs coach Todd Haley confirmed that Bobby Wade will be active this week thanks to Dwayne Bowe's suspension.
Wade has been inactive the last two weeks as he lost his slot job to Lance Long and Chris Chambers was signed. Haley said that it was just a numbers game, but don't look for much production out of Wade. The clear beneficiaries of Bowe's absence will be Long and Chambers.

 Tim Castille - RBNov. 17 - 6:28 pm et
Chiefs signed FB Tim Castille, formerly of the Cardinals.
Castille is familiar with Todd Haley's offense from their time together in Arizona. He's not a threat to Mike Cox's starting job.

 Lance Long - WRNov. 17 - 2:14 pm et
Lance Long figures to see an increase in fantasy value following the suspension of Dwayne Bowe.
Mark Bradley may move back into the starting lineup opposite Chris Chambers, but Long will likely see a bigger increase in targets. He's worth grabbing as a flier in PPR leagues. Bobby Wade will be active on game days, though he's behind Bradley and Long on the depth chart.
 Chris Chambers - WRNov. 17 - 2:11 pm et
Chris Chambers ascends to the Chiefs' No. 1 receiver following Dwayne Bowe's suspension.
Teams usually know about PED suspensions ahead of time, so it's possible that Bowe's status was the impetus for grabbing Chambers off the waiver wire. While he's worth grabbing off waivers as the closest thing the Chiefs have to a Bowe replacement, Chambers is still a weak option as a WR3.
 Dwayne Bowe - WRNov. 17 - 1:45 pm et
NFL suspended Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances.
The suspension begins immediately and will keep Bowe out until Week 15. Bowe reported to spring workouts 30 pounds overweight, and ESPN's Adam Schefter "gathers" that Bowe took a diuretic to shed the extra pounds. He spent much of the early season in coach Todd Haley's doghouse, and the suspension may alter the team's long-term plans for him. With Bowe returning in time for many fantasy playoff games, he's worth keeping on rosters.

 Lance Long - WRNov. 16 - 10:20 pm et
Chiefs WR Lance Long caught just two balls for 18 yards in Week 10.
Long started in a three-wide set with Chris Chambers and Dwayne Bowe, but saw just three targets. Chambers had five and Dwayne Bowe 11 -- easily a team high. Long has potential as a long-term slot guy, but the K.C. offense doesn't have enough firepower to support more than 1-2 fantasy options.
 Jamaal Charles - RBNov. 16 - 9:16 am et
Coach Todd Haley expressed confidence in Jamaal Charles after he recorded the Chiefs' first 100-yard rushing game of the season Sunday.
Haley said he's seen a "big change" in Charles the last few weeks, adding, "You can see him kind of growing into being a player." While Charles shined, Kolby Smith struggled and Dantrell Savage came up injured. Expect Charles to turn this into a feature back situation as opposed to the three-man committee it had been.

 Chris Chambers - WRNov. 15 - 7:49 pm et
Chris Chambers caught three passes for 60 yards in the Chiefs' Week 10 win over the Raiders.
Chambers worked mostly on Oakland CB Chris Johnson throughout the afternoon and had one drop that led to an interception by Johnson in the first quarter. The Chiefs still have to like what Chambers is giving them, as he is a reliable No. 2 opposite Dwayne Bowe. Chambers faces the Steelers next week, who he caught four passes for 39 yards and a TD against in Week 4.
 Dwayne Bowe - WRNov. 15 - 7:45 pm et
Dwayne Bowe caught six passes for 91 yards in the Chiefs' win over the Raiders.
Bowe was targeted a team-high ten times by Matt Cassel and also drew a couple of big defensive pass interference calls. He was working mostly on Nnamdi Asomugha and had a solid game. Bowe goes up against a tough Pittsburgh secondary in Week 11.
 Kolby Smith - RBNov. 15 - 7:42 pm et
Kolby Smith rushed for just 12 yards on nine carries in the Chiefs' Week 10 victory.
Jamaal Charles is definitely the team's No. 1 tailback with Larry Johnson out of the picture, as Smith saw limited action in the win. Either way, he's not a good play next week against the Steelers.
 Jamaal Charles - RBNov. 15 - 7:39 pm et
Jamaal Charles rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in the Chiefs' Week 10 win over Oakland.
Charles carried the Kansas City offense to the win over the lowly Raiders and added four catches for 14 yards. He earned the Chiefs' first rushing TD of the season on a fourth-and-one call from the Raiders' 44-yard line. Charles is not a good fantasy option next week against the Steelers.
 Matt Cassel - QBNov. 15 - 7:36 pm et
Matt Cassel completed 19-of-34 passes for 216 yards and one interception in the Chiefs' 16-10 victory over the Raiders.
Cassel didn't play particularly well, as the Chiefs' offense was carried by Jamaal Charles. Cassel looked to be staring his receivers down early in the game, as he came close to another interception or two. Don't play Cassel next week against the Steelers.
 Jamaal Charles - RBNov. 15 - 6:52 pm et
Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles left Sunday's game against the Raiders with an apparent leg injury.
Charles walked off the field under his own power and it didn't look to be serious. If Charles misses any time, Kolby Smith will see the bulk of the work.
 Mike Vrabel - LBNov. 15 - 6:24 pm et
Chiefs LB Mike Vrabel left Sunday's game against the Raiders with an apparent left knee injury.
Vrabel looks questionable to return and was replaced by Andy Studebaker.
 Dantrell Savage - RBNov. 15 - 5:46 pm et
Chiefs RB/PR Dantrell Savage left Sunday's game against the Raiders with an ankle injury and is questionable to return.
Savage muffed a punt to turn the ball over early in the game and also dropped an easy third-down pass which would have resulted in a first down. When Savage came off of the field after the drop, coach Todd Haley said to him, "You don't want to play today, do you?" Maurice Leggett will handle punt returns.
 Bobby Wade - WRNov. 15 - 2:48 pm et
Chiefs have declared WR Bobby Wade, CB Donald Washington, S DaJuan Morgan, LB David Herron, LB Justin Rogers, TE Jake O'Connell, and TE Sean Ryan inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Wade will be inactive for the second straight week in a row, which is a little surprising. With Sean Ryan inactive, look for TE Leonard Pope's role to expand this week.
 Chris Chambers - WRNov. 13 - 5:44 pm et
Chris Chambers (probable, foot) practiced without limitations Friday.
He'll start against the Raiders, but Oakland is solid against the pass and Chambers' two-TD Chiefs debut was likely a fluke. He's barely a WR3.
 Jamaal Charles - RBNov. 13 - 2:40 pm et
Chiefs coach Todd Haley refused to commit to a starting running back for Week 10 in his Friday press conference.
"Either (Dantrell) Savage, (Kolby) Smith, or (Jamaal) Charles," Haley said. "Depends what play we decide to open with probably." Haley did guard that by saying Smith still isn't fully recovered from offseason knee surgery, but the Chiefs clearly plan to keep their three-headed RB "monster" intact. Despite a favorable matchup with Oakland, no back here is a strong fantasy bet.

 Mark Bradley - WRNov. 13 - 2:03 pm et
Chiefs beat writer Kent Babb suggests that Mark Bradley could be a healthy scratch in Week 10.
Bobby Wade was the odd man out in Week 9, but Bradley dropped two of his three targets and has fallen behind Lance Long and Chris Chambers on the depth chart. Bradley will not garner much interest in offseason free agency.
