 Jason Ferguson - DLNov. 20 - 1:51 am et
The Dolphins reportedly believe Jason Ferguson's knee injury is "serious," and he'll be sent for an MRI on Friday.
Beat writer Armando Salguero expects Ferguson to miss time, but it remains to be seen if he's done for the season. The Dolphins, who surrendered 182 yards on the ground at Carolina, badly need Ferguson to stop the run.

 Joey Porter - LBNov. 20 - 12:00 am et
Drawing the start at outside linebacker, Joey Porter led the Dolphins with eight tackles, two sacks, and three quarterback hurries in Thursday's win over the Panthers.
Porter came out motivated after his Week 10 deactivation. Despite splitting time with Charlie Anderson, he took advantage of Travelle Wharton's obvious struggles after the former guard was kicked out to left tackle to cover for Jordan Gross. This was easily Porter's best game of the season.
Ted Ginn Jr. - WRNov. 19 - 11:56 pm et
Ted Ginn caught four passes for 32 yards against the Panthers in Week 11.
Ginn started for the second straight week, but he rotated with Greg Camarillo and Brian Hartline. His six targets tied Davone Bess for the team lead, and the four receptions are his most since Week 2. He's still not worthy of a roster spot in 12-team leagues.
 Davone Bess - WRNov. 19 - 11:53 pm et
Davone Bess led the Dolphins in receptions for the third straight week, catching six passes for 63 yards against the Panthers in Week 11.
Bess was the primary pass catcher once again, seeing more snaps than the players rotating on the opposite side. Bess hauled in all six of his targets, several as tough catches in traffic for key first downs. Thursday's totals match his average over the previous two weeks, making him a WR3 option in PPR leagues going forward.
 Lex Hilliard - RBNov. 19 - 11:47 pm et
Lex Hilliard rushed four times for 24 yards and added two receptions for seven yards against the Panthers in Week 11.
Hilliard came off the bench smoking, reeling off back-to-back 13- and 18-yard gains only to have the 13-yarder called back on a holding penalty. While the second-year power back provided a spark, this is not a timeshare situation or a committee attack. He's clearly just spelling Ricky Williams. Third-stringer Kory Sheets was uninvolved.
 Chad Henne - QBNov. 19 - 11:43 pm et
Chad Henne completed 17-of-29 passes for 172 yards and one touchdown against the Panthers in Week 11.
The Dolphins came out passing with Ronnie Brown gone and the Wildcat pushed to the back burner. Though he was abysmal on third downs early, Henne was able to move the Dolphins through the air in the second half. Now an impressive 5-2 as a starter, Miami's run-oriented offense has kept him under 225 yards in four straight games. He won't be a quality fantasy option at Buffalo next week.
 Ricky Williams - RBNov. 19 - 11:37 pm et
Ricky Williams rushed 22 times for 119 yards and two touchdowns and added two receptions for 19 yards and another touchdown to lead the Dolphins past the Panthers Thursday night, 24-17.
Ricky showed nice hands and good balance on his first score, a 14-yard catch-and-run. Operating out of the Wildcat, Ricky added a diving 1-yard run, nailing the pylon for his second score of the second quarter. He sealed the game with a 46-yard tackle-shedding touchdown late in the fourth quarter after the Panthers had moved to within one score. The Dolphins' new workhorse, an ageless Ricky is a must-start RB1 against the Bills' league-worst run defense in Week 12.
 Nate Garner - TNov. 19 - 11:07 pm et
Dolphins OL Nate Garner left Thursday's game in the fourth quarter with a right knee injury.
This is getting ridiculous. Garner is the third Miami center lost to injury during the game. Joe Berger, who left with his own ankle injury, is back the game.
 Joe Berger - TNov. 19 - 10:53 pm et
Dolphins utility OL Joe Berger left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.
Berger had come on to replace Jake Grove (ankle), who tried to go back into the game but was ultimately kept on the bench. Nate Garner has moved to center after playing both tackle and guard earlier in the game.
 Jason Ferguson - DLNov. 19 - 10:38 pm et
Dolphins NT Jason Ferguson limped off the field with the help of two trainers early in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game.
Ferguson was carted back to the locker room with a knee injury. He's officially questionable to return, but the cart obviously doesn't bode well for a reappearance.
 Ronnie Brown - RBNov. 19 - 10:20 pm et
Ronnie Brown has decided to undergo surgery to repair the Lisfranc fracture in his right foot.
Brown had already been leaning toward electing for the surgery, and his visit with foot specialist Dr. Bob Anderson confirmed that it was the right decision. Brown will undergo surgery Friday and will likely miss all of OTAs next season. He expects to be recovered "well before" the start of the 2010 season, but he's likely to be eased in during training camp.

 Jake Grove - CNov. 19 - 10:05 pm et
Dolphins C Jake Grove limped off the field with a left ankle injury early in the third quarter of Thursday's game.
He's getting treatment on the Miami bench, and his return is questionable. One of the NFL's best centers this season, Grove has been a key cog in the improved rushing attack. Veteran Joe Berger has come on to replace him.
 Anthony Fasano - TENov. 19 - 7:08 pm et
Dolphins declared TE Anthony Fasano, LB Erik Walden, OT Andrew Gardner, DE Lionel Dotson, OT Lydon Murtha, DT Paul Soliai, RB Nate Ness, and QB Tyler Thigpen inactive against the Panthers in Week 11.
Joey Haynos gets the start in place of Fasano. Nate Gardner is filling in for RG Justin Smiley. Ricky Williams will carry the load with Ronnie Brown (foot) out, though Lex Hilliard could see a few carries in relief.

 Ronnie Brown - RBNov. 18 - 7:51 pm et
According to Dolphins beat writer Jeff Darlington, Ronnie Brown's season-ending right foot injury is "believed" to be a Lisfranc fracture.
The break will likely require surgery and bring into question Brown's status for 2010 training camp. By late July, he'll be seven months removed from the injury. A source tells Darlington that the mid-foot fracture isn't "anything major as far as career or long term," but Brown will likely miss all of OTA season. Noted Dr. Robert Anderson will decide whether Brown needs an operation.

 Ronnie Brown - RBNov. 18 - 5:33 pm et
Dolphins placed RB Ronnie Brown (foot) on injured reserve, ending his season.
The extent of Brown's foot injury still hasn't been revealed, but the Dolphins wouldn't have ended his season so early if it wasn't significant. A Lisfranc fracture requiring surgery could jeopardize his availability for 2010 training camp. In standard leagues, Brown has been the No. 8 overall fantasy RB with eight all-purpose touchdowns, 746 total yards, and a rock-solid 4.4 YPC in nine starts. With no CBA deal on the horizon, Brown appears to be headed for unrestricted free agency. If a CBA is struck, his 2010 option year will kick in, keeping him in Miami for $5 million.

 Justin Smiley - GNov. 18 - 3:06 pm et
Dolphins RG Justin Smiley (shoulder) will return to the starting lineup on Thursday night, according to the Miami Herald.
This is a nice upgrade for Ricky Williams' matchup, which is already favorable against a bottom-feeding Carolina run defense that's without WLB Thomas Davis (torn ACL) and isn't getting help from Julius Peppers (broken hand).

 Anthony Fasano - TENov. 18 - 3:03 pm et
Dolphins TE Anthony Fasano (hip) has been ruled out for Week 11.
Joey Haynos will start against Carolina, with Kory Sperry behind him.

 Ronnie Brown - RBNov. 18 - 1:56 pm et
A league source told the Palm Beach Post Tuesday night that Ronnie Brown (foot, ankle) is "done for the season."
Another source said "no one is sure," but the first source appears to be in agreement with Profootballtalk.com's early-Wednesday report. Brown's status may be determined by a specialist during his Wednesday checkup. According to the Post, "word" in the Dolphins' locker room is that Brown definitely won't play in Weeks 11 and 12. There's been no talk of Brown going on I.R. yet.

 Lex Hilliard - RBNov. 18 - 10:43 am et
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said that Lex Hilliard "will have to be ready to carry the ball" with Ronnie Brown (foot) sidelined.
Hilliard won't come anywhere close to sharing carries with Ricky Williams, but he'll likely be sprinkled in along with Lousaka Polite. Hilliard is a power back that has never gotten a carry in his two-year career.

 Ronnie Brown - RBNov. 18 - 7:54 am et
The "current thinking" is that Ronnie Brown (foot) will miss the rest of the season, a league source tells Profootballtalk.com.
The report admits that this prognosis could change based on the advice of the specialist and how Brown's rehab goes, so this is far from a sure thing. If Brown is lost for the season, Ricky Williams would become into an elite fantasy player worthy of an every week start over the final seven games of the season. Brown is the currently the No. 9 fantasy running back in standard scoring leagues.
