 Lance Moore - WRNov. 20 - 2:58 pm et
Lance Moore (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 11.
Moore, who has no timetable to return, is fantasy waiver wire fodder.

 Reggie Bush - RBNov. 20 - 2:57 pm et
Reggie Bush (questionable, knee) missed his third straight practice Friday and appears unlikely to play at Tampa Bay.
Pierre Thomas will carry the load in an ideal matchup, with Mike Bell chipping in as an early-down change of pace back. Coach Sean Payton said Bush likely wouldn't even be available for punt return duties. The Saints want to avoid a setback with Bush's knee, which he's had surgically repaired several times before. They'll likely play it safe so he's available for the stretch run.

 Malcolm Jenkins - DBNov. 19 - 6:41 pm et
Saints CB Malcolm Jenkins is expected to make his first NFL start against the Bucs this week.
Jenkins started out as the nickel back last week before moving to a full time role after Tracy Porter suffered a knee injury. Jenkins did "really well" according to coach Sean Payton and shouldn't be a liability for the Saints pass defense.

 Reggie Bush - RBNov. 19 - 5:03 pm et
The swelling that has kept Reggie Bush out of practice this week is to the left knee that has given him trouble in the past.
"Hopefully we can practice him tomorrow," said coach Sean Payton. "At the same time, I don't want to set it back." Bush is coming off a heavier than usual workload at St. Louis, and the knee flareup will likely have Payton thinking twice about expanding his role down the stretch.

 Lance Moore - WRNov. 19 - 4:58 pm et
Lance Moore (ankle) missed practice again Thursday.
Moore hasn't practiced since Week 8 and should be considered "week-to-week" with a high ankle sprain. Robert Meachem will continue to see extra snaps in his place.

 Reggie Bush - RBNov. 19 - 2:28 pm et
Reggie Bush (knee) missed practice again Thursday.
Coach Sean Payton indicated that Bush is dealing with swelling in his knee, though there's no indication that he's in danger of missing this week's game at Tampa. Bush is no better than a flex play if he does suit up on Sunday.

 Jeremy Shockey - TENov. 18 - 7:39 pm et
Jeremy Shockey doesn't believe that LeBron James could play in the NFL, and estimates that LeBron runs a 4.9 forty.
"Lebron James could not play in the NFL!" Shockey tweeted Wednesday. "Espn is crazy to even think he could even make a practice squad. Hes a 4.9 40 time." James was a first-team all-Ohio receiver as a prep sophomore and led his team to the state semifinals as a junior before quitting to focus on hoops. At 6'8/250, though, a 4.9 wouldn't be very impressive.

 Lance Moore - WRNov. 18 - 3:35 pm et
Lance Moore (ankle) missed Saints practice on Wednesday.
Moore, sidelined since Week 8, has no known timetable for return.

 Reggie Bush - RBNov. 18 - 3:34 pm et
Reggie Bush missed Saints practice Wednesday with a knee injury.
Bush is coming off his best game (98 total yards, two touchdowns) of the season. There's no indication that the injury will sideline him for Week 11.

 Jabari Greer - DBNov. 17 - 10:44 pm et
Saints LCB Jabari Greer (groin) and DT Sedrick Ellis (knee) are not expected to play in Week 11, according to NFL.com's Jason La Canfora.
They should both return in Week 12. New Orleans has been getting gashed by the run since Ellis went down in Week 7. Greer, the team's No. 1 corner, will be replaced in the starting lineup again by nickel back Randall Gay.

 Darren Sharper - DBNov. 17 - 10:41 pm et
NFL.com's Jason La Canfora reports that Saints FS Darren Sharper (knee) will return to the starting lineup this week.
Sharper could've played in Week 10, but he and the team played it safe in a theoretically easy win against the Rams. The game didn't go so easily, but the NFC's interceptions leader is scheduled to start Sunday against Tampa Bay.

 Marques Colston - WRNov. 17 - 9:41 pm et
Marques Colston saw just two targets in the Saints' Week 10 win.
His first didn't come until the third quarter. Ronald Bartell had good coverage against the Saints' No. 1 receiver, holding Colston to 17 yards on two receptions. It was his weakest effort since Week 16 of 2007, but Colston has a very favorable stretch-run schedule and makes for a terrific buy low.

 Reggie Bush - RBNov. 17 - 9:38 pm et
Reggie Bush was in for 17 of the Saints' first 26 snaps in the team's Week 10 win over St. Louis.
Clearly, the Saints game planned for Bush to have a major role. He played just five of New Orleans' last 30 plays, however, with Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas dominating the backfield in the second half. Bush might've earned a slightly larger role with his 98-yard, two-TD effort, but ultimately he only got eight touches. Thomas remains the best RB fantasy play in the Nola.

 Chase Daniel - QBNov. 17 - 9:31 pm et
Saints waived QB Chase Daniel.
Daniels shouldn't have any trouble clearing waivers, then re-signing with the Saints' practice squad. Teams don't typically put in claims for project-type rookie quarterbacks because they can't help at this time of year.

 Chris McAlister - DBNov. 17 - 8:46 pm et
Saints signed CB Chris McAlister, formerly of the Ravens.
McAlister, 32, was cut by Baltimore in February after a 10-year run with the club that drafted him in 1999. He missed 18 games, mostly because of knee injuries, during the 2007-2008 seasons and was a shell of himself late in his Ravens career. McAlister is merely an insurance pickup for the Saints' stretch run with top corners Jabari Greer (groin) and Tracy Porter (knee) banged up.

 Tracy Porter - DBNov. 17 - 11:51 am et
Beat reporter Jeff Duncan confirms that Tracy Porter has a sprained MCL and will miss 4-6 weeks.
In a somewhat strange coincidence, it's the same injury that has hobbled fellow Saints Pierre Thomas, Mike Bell, Sedrick Ellis and Kendrick Clancy at different points this season. Porter's loss is big as Jabari Greer is already struggling with a groin injury. Luckily, the Saints are facing rookie QB Josh Freeman this week.

 Tracy Porter - DBNov. 16 - 4:47 pm et
Scout.com's Adam Caplan estimates that Saints CB Tracy Porter's MCL strain will cost him 4-8 weeks.
Caplan says the injury "sounds like" a Grade 3 sprain, or full tear. Porter doesn't need surgery, but he may not return until the final few weeks of the season. Randall Gay and Malcolm Jenkins will start on the corners until Jabari Greer (groin) returns. Leigh Torrence will be the nickel back.

 Tracy Porter - DBNov. 16 - 12:56 pm et
Saints coach Sean Payton revealed Monday that RCB Tracy Porter does not have a torn ACL, and that his injury is not season ending.
The Saints feared that Porter might need reconstructive knee surgery as recently as Sunday night, but tests revealed a strained MCL. He's probably still going to miss multiple weeks. Malcolm Jenkins' snaps will increase.

 Darren Sharper - DBNov. 16 - 10:36 am et
Saints FS Darren Sharper (sprained knee) said he could have played in Week 10 but didn't think he would make it through the whole game.
Sharper was replaced in the starting lineup by Usama Young. Look for Sharper to miss some practice time this week but be back in the lineup for this week's game against the Bucs.

 Tracy Porter - DBNov. 15 - 8:48 pm et
The Saints reportedly fear that RCB Tracy Porter will be lost for the season with a torn left ACL.
An MRI will determine the extent. Porter, whose first season also ended on injured reserve, was playing very well with 41 tackles, three picks, eight breakups, and two forced fumbles through nine games. Rookie Malcolm Jenkins may be forced to start the rest of the way of Porter's ACL is torn.
