 C.J. Ah You - DLNov. 19 - 4:16 pm et
Rams DL C.J. Ah You is out for the season after tearing his ACL
He will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Ah You, formerly a defensive end, had played well inside after the team lost Adam Carriker and Gary Gibson earlier in the season. Victor Adeyanju figures to see more work as Ah You's replacement.

 Brandon Gibson - WRNov. 18 - 5:28 pm et
As expected, Brandon Gibson ran as the Rams' first-team split end at Wednesday's practice.
Coach Steve Spagnuolo wouldn't commit to Gibson as his new starter opposite Donnie Avery on Monday, but there's no question that he will be. St. Louis' other options are special teamer Ruvell Martin, newly signed Jordan Kent, and Danny Amendola, who only plays in the slot. Gibson is a better pickup in dynasty than re-draft leagues, but he'll start for the rest of 2009.

 Jordan Kent - WRNov. 17 - 6:39 pm et
Rams signed WR Jordan Kent, formerly of the Seahawks.
A freakish athlete with raw receiving skills, Kent has experience in a West Coast offense from his time with Mike Holmgren. He's a long shot for fantasy value, but Dynasty leaguers should monitor his progress with the Rams.
 Brandon Gibson - WRNov. 17 - 1:06 pm et
Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo wouldn't commit to starting WR Brandon Gibson this week.
"I'm not ready to say that, but there can be an argument for that," Spagnuolo said. With Keenan Burton out for the season, the Spags doesn't have many options. Danny Amendola and Ruvell Martin are the other candidates to start opposite Donnie Avery, but Gibson makes the most sense. The rookie remains a solid pickup in deep leagues.

 Keenan Burton - WRNov. 16 - 4:32 pm et
Rams placed WR Keenan Burton on injured reserve with a torn right patellar tendon, ending his season.
Rookie Brandon Gibson, coming off a 93-yard game, will move into the every-down receiver position opposite Donnie Avery. Burton proved this year that he lacks the talent and separation skills to be a long-term starter. With a cheap contract, he'll return in 2010 to compete for a substitute role.

 Brandon Gibson - WRNov. 16 - 10:04 am et
Rams rookie WR Brandon Gibson is expected to start across from Donnie Avery now that Keenan Burton (knee) is out for the season.
Gibson was impressive in Week 10 -- the first significant action of his career. He was targeted a team-high nine times and came up with seven catches for 93 yards. "I think we found a really good receiver there," said Marc Bulger. Expect some inconsistency out of Gibson, but he's worth an add in most leagues. He's an especially attractive addition in dynasty leagues.

 Keenan Burton - WRNov. 16 - 9:55 am et
Keenan Burton is expected to land on injured reserve after suffering a patella injury in the Rams' Week 10 loss to the Saints.
Burton went down in the first quarter when he tripped over his own feet and landed awkwardly. He'll become the third Rams wide receiver to land on IR following Laurent Robinson and Brooks Foster. Burton had 18 catches in the four games leading up to Sunday and his absence will open up more chances for rookie talent Brandon Gibson.

 Brandon Gibson - WRNov. 15 - 4:41 pm et
Brandon Gibson caught seven passes for 93 yards in the Rams' Week 10 loss to the Saints.
Gibson was targeted early and often, especially after Keenan Burton departed with an injury. Gibson flashed a ton of potential, both in catching the ball and working after the catch, and should continue to gain QB Marc Bulger's trust. The 1-8 Rams need to focus on finding reps for their young talent.
 Donnie Avery - WRNov. 15 - 4:37 pm et
Donnie Avery caught four passes for 67 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams' Week 10 loss to the Saints.
Avery's touchdown catches were gorgeous. He beat Randall Gay on a 29-yard corner route in the second quarter and went up for a ball at the front of the end zone with under three minutes remaining in the fourth. Avery carries a boatload of big play potential, but the Rams are not a big play offense and he should be treated as a WR3 in most matchups. He may have trouble next week against Arizona.
 Marc Bulger - QBNov. 15 - 4:24 pm et
Marc Bulger completed 26-of-40 passes for 298 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Week 10 against the Saints.
Bulger threw the ball with more zip and accuracy this week than we've seen in years. His two touchdown throws to WR Donnie Avery were perfect and he even made a play or two with his feet. That said, the Rams are short on talent and Bulger is far too inconsistent to be relied on.
 Steven Jackson - RBNov. 15 - 4:20 pm et
Steven Jackson racked up 131 yards and a touchdown on 26 rushes and caught nine passes for 45 yards in Week 10 against the Saints.
Jackson had an incredible first half, tallying over 50 net yards in the first quarter and 100 rushing yards by halftime. He also found the end zone for his second score of the season. S-Jax was less effective in the second half as the Saints stacked the box, but he still managed a fantasy-friendly 176 overall yards. The Rams take on the Cardinals in Week 11.
 Chris Long - DLNov. 15 - 3:35 pm et
Chris Long departed Sunday's game with an apparent right knee injury but returned after just a few plays.
Long was able to walk off the field under his own power and didn't appear to be in any sort of pain. He picked up a sack upon returning to action.
 Paris Lenon - LBNov. 15 - 1:43 pm et
Rams LB Paris Lenon left Sunday's game in the first quarter with a rib injury but was able to return.
Lenon suffered the injury in the first five minutes of Sunday's contest. The Rams are in trouble against the Saints' dynamic offense.
 Keenan Burton - WRNov. 15 - 1:24 pm et
Keenan Burton left Sunday's game with a knee injury and is doubtful to return.
Burton tripped over his own feet in the end zone and was worked on by the Rams' medical staff before being carted off the field. He didn't show any indication of pain, but was fitted with an inflatable cast.
 Richie Incognito - GNov. 15 - 11:51 am et
Rams declared G Richie Incognito, QB Keith Null, CB Danny Gorrer, LB Dominic Douglas, G Roger Allen, T Phil Trautwein, DT Leger Douzable and WR Ruvell Martin inactive for Week 10.
Incognito suffered a foot injury in late October and still isn't 100 percent. The Rams are hosting the undefeated Saints on Sunday.
 Brandon Gibson - WRNov. 11 - 5:25 pm et
Newly acquired WR Brandon Gibson took "a number of reps" with the Rams' first-team offense in Wednesday's practice.
The Rams see a lot of potential in Gibson, who was acquired from the Eagles at the trade deadline. He could begin cutting into starting split end Keenan Burton's snaps as soon as Sunday against New Orleans. Keep an eye on Gibson in dynasty leagues. He was considered a first-day draft prospect before an injury-plagued senior year at Washington State in 2008.

 Dominic Douglas - LBNov. 10 - 6:52 pm et
Rams promoted LB Dominic Douglas from the practice squad.
Douglas didn't record a tackle in three games earlier this season. He'll be limited to special teams duty if he's active on game days.

 Richie Incognito - GNov. 10 - 10:02 am et
Rams RG Richie Incognito (foot) is no longer wearing a protective boot, but will not practice this week.
Incognito suffered a Lisfranc injury to the foot on Oct. 25. He won't play against the Saints this week, meaning another start for Adam Goldberg.

 Danny Amendola - WRNov. 9 - 3:38 pm et
Rams WR/KR Danny Amendola has been cleared to resume playing after suffering a concussion in Week 8.
Amendola had a Week 9 bye to get his head right and will play Sunday against the Seahawks. He's been a rare solid pickup for St. Louis, playing efficiently in the slot and productively on both kickoff and punt returns.

 Marc Bulger - QBNov. 5 - 3:25 pm et
Coach Steve Spagnuolo doesn't plan to change quarterbacks over the team's bye week.
Marc Bulger has just three touchdown passes and a 68.2 passer rating, but he's gotten little help from his receivers or his offensive line. The Week 8 win snapped a 17-game losing streak and has brought Bulger some job security.
