Over the last two weeks, Rotoworld has reset our tiers at running back, quarterback and tight end. Now it's time for the wideouts. In such a short season, schedule plays quite a factor.
There is so much I want to say about Sunday's Week 12 action, so look for an Afternoon After later Monday. Thanks for stopping by and check out our expanded playoff coverage on Season Pass for only $4.99, including playoff rankings and schedule analysis. Hopefully your Sunday was filled with playoff berth celebrations.
Tier One
1. Anquan Boldin
2. Larry Fitzgerald
3. Steve Smith
4. Reggie Wayne
5. Brandon Marshall
6. Terrell Owens
7. Roddy White
8. Andre Johnson
9. Greg Jennings
10. Calvin Johnson
T.O. was a tier below until Sunday's explosion. The Dallas schedule is tough in the fantasy playoffs, though. Andre Johnson also faces a tough road with Green Bay and Tennessee to open the playoffs. No matter the quarterback, Megatron finds a way. He's earned it. Smith has two difficult matchups before getting Denver. Reggie Wayne has been a mild disappointment, but he's set up well for a strong finish. These are the every-week starters.
Tier Two
11. Dwayne Bowe
12. Randy Moss
13 Lee Evans
14. Braylon Edwards
15. Marques Colston
16. Eddie Royal
17. Jerricho Cotchery
18. Hines Ward
19. Wes Welker
20. Santana Moss
Bowe has no tough matchups left and plays for a sudden pass-first offense. With Matt Cassel playing this well, Randy Moss can still finish in the top ten. The fantasy playoff schedule isn't tough, but Moss will still be boom or bust. The same goes for Santana Moss, who has been far more bust lately. Royal is coming off a disappointing game against the Raiders, but the schedule still sets up well. Edwards would be the number one wide receiver if targets and drops were fantasy categories. Cotchery is steady; the schedule sets up well, and the Jets passing game keeps improving. I will go to my grave believing Marques Colston is an every-week fantasy starter. After the Bucs in Week 13, his playoff schedule opens up. Welker is so steady; we can live with his lack of scoring. He'd rank higher in PPR leagues.
These receivers should start almost every week, but you could consider benching them in a tough matchup if your roster is loaded.
