Note: The updates were made Friday evening. There were quite a bit this week.

The key for fantasy owners still playing this week is to figure out which NFL starters will be doing the same. With so much decided early this season, there will be more playoff teams resting starters than any recent season. That's why you'll see Todd Collins ahead of Peyton Manning this week, and Michael Pittman twenty spots ahead of Marion Barber. Here's my quick and dirty best guesses for which teams will be playing to win on Sunday, and who will be sitting.

AFC

1. Patriots – Resting isn't their style, and they want the 16-0 record. Look for Tom Brady and Randy Moss to play until the game is decided.

2. Colts – Once the Colts offense scores a touchdown, I wouldn't expect Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Reggie Wayne, and Dallas Clark to get back on the field.

3. Chargers - They should want to desperately avoid a potential Jacksonville/New England gauntlet that awaits the fourth seed. Look for San Diego to play their starters until the game is in hand. That may only take a half against Oakland.

4. Steelers - Ben Roethlisberger is iffy to play the whole game because he's not fully healthy. The Steelers would like to shoot for the third seed, but they may ease up in the second half, making their receivers risky.

5. Jaguars - They are resting defensive players that are on the borderline. That indicates that many offensive stars like David Garrard and Fred Taylor probably won't play much either.

6. Browns/Titans - Even though the Browns game is essentially meaningless, Derek Anderson, Braylon Edwards, and Jamal Lewis should play to win.

NFC

1. Cowboys - All bets are off with their stars.

2. Packers - Harder to predict than the Cowboys, but I don't expect to see them play the whole game. Greg Jennings is especially iffy. Ryan Grant shouldn't get a full load.

3. Seahawks- They sound like they care more about winning and playing their starters than the rest of the NFC. Injury-plagued guys like Deion Branch may not go, but I think Bobby Engram and Matt Hasselbeck are better bets than most NFC players.

4. Bucs- Jeff Garcia, Joey Galloway, and Earnest Graham are hands off. Luke McCown and Michael Pittman should benefit.

5. Giants - I think the starters will play more than people expect, but it would be a huge risk to use them in fantasy leagues.

6. Wild Card contenders - The Redskins game is at 4PM, so everyone will be playing to get into the playoffs.

I wanted to send out a hearty thank you for everyone who checked out Goal Line Stand and Rotoworld all season. It was a good year for the rankings, as Rotoworld came in first place in two independent analysis' testing the accuracy of various fantasy rankings including one on FFToday.com.

We are humbled by our sites' exponential growth and it's all because of you. Rotoworld is never a finished product, and we want to keep improving the site to serve our readers. We have a lot planned for the offseason, when I think our wall-to-wall coverage separates us from the competition.

Next week, I'll roll out some fantasy playoff rankings, in addition to our Top-50 Keepers for 2008 and a handy season-in-review for every major skill player in the league. Our news page will continue to update the entire league twenty four hours a day. There will be one more Fantasy Fix Live this Sunday, but we'll continue to do weekly taped shows all offseason, including some videos from the Super Bowl. Thanks again and good luck to everyone still playing. You are going to need it this week.
