Ryan Mathews out vs. Louisiana Tech
Fresno State running back Ryan Mathews will miss this Saturday's game with Louisiana Tech according to coach Pat Hill.
Mathews leads the country in rushing yards and has been an automatic fantasy start until his injury last week against Nevada. He is expected back for Fresno State's final game against Illinois, but the December 5th date may be too late for him to help many fantasy teams. Nov. 18 - 2:15 am et

DeMarco Murray 'pretty sure' he'll be back
Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray says he will discuss his options at the end of the year with his family, but is "pretty sure" he'll be back.
Murray is a burner and could forgo his senior year and enter the 2010 NFL draft. Nov. 17 - 5:30 pm et

Sprained foot for Salas, should play
X-rays revealed no significant damage to Hawaii wide receiver Greg Salas' right foot.  Salas' injury is being classified as a sprain and he is expected to play Saturday against San Jose St.
It is not ideal to have one of your best fantasy receivers on crutches the week before a game, but the way he's been playing it will be nearly impossible to leave him out of your lineup. Nov. 17 - 10:15 am et

No chance for Best on Saturday
Cal coach Jeff Tedford told The San Jose Mercury News that there is "no chance" that running back Jahvid Best (concussion) will play against Stanford.
This news was expected, though there still appears a chance that Cal's dynamic tailback will play in the bowl game. Nov. 16 - 9:15 pm et

Brandon Minor may miss Ohio State
Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez told The Detroit News that running back Brandon Minor is "day-to-day" due to a shoulder injury.
This potential loss hurts Michigan much more than fantasy owners who have likely given up on the oft-injured but talented tailback. The hard-running Minor could really help move the chains against the Buckeyes, allowing the Wolverine defense more time to rest between touchdowns allowed. Nov. 16 - 8:15 pm et

 Sam Bradford's surgery a sucess
Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford underwent successful surgery on his right (throwing) shoulder on Wednesday.
Bradford's next stop is the NFL draft, where we wish him the best of luck. Oct. 29 - 8:30 am et

Schad: Seth Doege to start for Tech
ESPN's Joe Schad is reporting that sources close to the Texas Tech program say that Seth Doege will start this week against Texas A&M.
From message board rumors to reading between the lines in Mike Leach's press conferences, Doege starting is a common theme.  We never feel 100 percent comfortable without confirmation from the coaching staff, but with Leach involved, this is probably as good as it is going to get.  Dez done for the season...we think
Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant has been suspended for the season by the NCAA, though the Cowboys are appealing and expect a decision by next week.  The NCAA announced Tuesday the suspension will be in force until September 2010.
Guess we'll have to wait and see on this one. Right now, it doesn't look good for Bryant or Oklahoma State. Oct. 28 - 4:00 pm et
