Vernon Gholston isn't our top-ranked rookie linebacker for dynasty leagues. Check our rookie defense rankings to find out who is.

 Kellen Winslow-TE-BrownsMay. 11 - 10:30 pm et
Kellen Winslow (knee surgery) is not expected to attend Browns OTAs.
Other injured players like Steve Heiden (back) and Joe Jurevicius (knee) will be there. The Cleveland Plain Dealer suggests Winslow's absence is contract related. Upgrading Winslow's deal is not currently the team's priority.

 Quinn Ojinnaka-T-FalconsMay. 11 - 6:10 pm et
The Falcons opened their first post-draft minicamp with Quinn Ojinnaka as their starting left tackle.
Rookie Sam Baker is expected to overtake Ojinnaka before or during the season. Justin Blalock was back at left guard with Kynan Forney at RG and veteran Todd McClure at center. Atlanta's only line moves of the offseason were trading up for Baker and signing undrafted FA Michael Butterworth.

 Johnathan Holland-WR-RaidersMay. 11 - 3:57 pm et
Updating a previous item, Raiders WR Johnathan Holland was not able to participate in rookie minicamp because he spent 2007 on I.R.
A season on injured reserve counts as an accrued year, so Holland isn't a rookie. A previous report indicated he was still not medically cleared from a shoulder injury he suffered early last summer. He'll be in for OTAs.

 Koren Robinson-WR-PackersMay. 11 - 3:23 pm et
The Raiders haven't had substantive talks with free agent Koren Robinson yet, according to the Oakland Tribune's Jerry McDonald.
McDonald says the "word is" Oakland has considered signing Robinson, but he may be looking at other places as well. Robinson would have a better shot at instant playing time in Kansas City, Miami, St. Louis, or even Dallas.

 Braylon Edwards-WR-BrownsMay. 11 - 2:17 pm et
Browns beat writer Tony Grossi guesses that Braylon Edwards will get a new contract before Kellen Winslow.
Edwards, who has two years left on his rookie deal, hasn't expressed any displeasure with his contract. Winslow feels he's underpaid, but has had at least four surgeries on his right knee and could have a shortened career.

 Steve Slaton-RB-TexansMay. 11 - 1:46 pm et
Texans rookie Steve Slaton fumbled twice in Saturday's non-contact practice.
RBs coach Chick Harris called them "typical rookie mistakes." Slaton struggled with fumbles at West Virginia in 2007 after having wrist surgery. As a situational back, he'll have to fix that problem to see the field.
 Shaun Alexander-RB-SeahawksMay. 11 - 1:35 pm et
The Biloxi Sun Herald believes that the Saints' interest in free agent Shaun Alexander was mostly about "fact finding."
"What you try to do is just look at the different options and get a chance to become more familiar with players than what you just see on tape," Payton said of Alexander's recent visit. "It was really just that." No one's beating down Alexander's door now, but that could change when injuries hit.
