 Allen Iverson-G- 76ers Feb. 9 - 1:20 pm et

Allen Iverson (personal reasons) has not ruled out playing in the All-Star game.
Iverson has missed the last there games and not surprisingly, the Sixers have gone 3-0 during that stretch. He's questionable to play tonight and even if he does, it sounds like the Sixers will smartly stick with Willie Green in their starting five going forward. Leave AI reserved and at this point, we'd probably rather have someone like Anthony Morrow.
 Andrew Bynum-C- Lakers Feb. 9 - 1:18 pm et

Andrew Bynum (knee, hip) confirmed that he likely won't play until the Lakers come out of the All-Star break.
Bynum is waiting for the bruising and swelling in his right hip to subside. The good news is that his swollen left knee is feeling better and he sounded confident he'll be able to play in a week. We doubt this is the last injury piece of injury news we'll have on Bynum this season.
 J.R. Smith-G/F- Nuggets Feb. 9 - 1:11 pm et

J.R. Smith says he will play through his mildly sprained right shoulder on Tuesday night.
Smith's opportunities will take a hit with Carmelo Anthony (ankle) expected back and his shoulder sore, but nothing can stop J.R. from jacking up shots. He's making 1.9 3-pointers per game although he shoots the trey at a 33.3 percent clip. We'd be comfortable starting him.
 Carmelo Anthony-F- Nuggets Feb. 9 - 1:06 pm et

Carmelo Anthony (ankle) says he is going to play on Tuesday.
We'll believe it when we see it, but all signs point toward Melo finally getting back in action tonight. He's listed as probable and even he admitted that he's been out way too long with this mere sprained ankle. Playing in the next two games will allow Anthony to suit up for Sunday's All-Star game with a clear conscious.
 Chris Douglas-Roberts-G/F- Nets Feb. 9 - 1:05 pm et

Chris Douglas-Roberts is expected to play Tuesday night despite leaving Saturday's game with back spasms.
CDR has lost his starting job to Jarvis Hayes anyway. He's off the fantasy radar.
 Delonte West-G- Cavaliers Feb. 9 - 12:58 pm et

Delonte West (finger) likely will not play against the Nets on Tuesday.
With only one more game to go before the All-Star break, it looks like we won't see Delonte until Feb. 18. The Cavs just don't have any motivation to rush West with Daniel Gibson playing so well. Mo Williams is due back at the end of February, so West's window for value is almost completely shut.

 Tyson Chandler-C- Bobcats Feb. 9 - 11:38 am et

Bobcats center Tyson Chandler (foot) expects to return to action on Tuesday.
He's unlikely to start and definitely won't play many minutes, but is worth keeping an eye on if you need rebounds and blocks. With Nazr Mohammed playing very well, however, minutes might be hard to come by.
 Raymond Felton-G- Bobcats Feb. 9 - 11:15 am et

Raymond Felton (sprained ankle) intends to play on Tuesday, but coach Larry Brown said he'll be a game-time decision.
Felton usually toughs out injuries and we don't imagine this will be any different, but hopefully we'll get confirmation before tipoff. If he can't suit up, D.J. Augustin would likely slide into the starting unit.
 Kyle Korver-G/F- Jazz Feb. 9 - 10:38 am et

Kyle Korver recently had a setback in his return from knee surgery, and coach Jerry Sloan is concerned about his ability to play effective defense.
The Jazz have a wealth of talented wing players (Andrei Kirilenko, Wesley Matthew, Ronnie Brewer, C.J. Miles) and the team is on an eight-game win streak. In other words, don't expect Korver's role to change any time soon.
 Darrell Arthur-F- Grizzlies Feb. 9 - 10:37 am et

Grizzlies forward Darrell Arthur (torn pectoral muscle) is expected to return against the Hawks on Tuesday following a four-month absence.
"I'm a little rusty, so I'm not sure how much I'll play at first," said Arthur. "But my goal is to give[Zach Randolph] some rest and bring some energy off the bench." Head coach Lionel Hollins hopes that Arthur "defends, rebounds and runs the court ... If he consistently makes his jump shot, then that'll be even better."
 Omri Casspi-F- Kings Feb. 9 - 10:36 am et

Omri Casspi has earned praise for his shooting and intensity, but still needs to work on his defense and ball-handling.
Casspi doesn't shy away from voicing his emotions, which isn't always a good thing since he occasionally gets frustrated (or frustrates his coach and teammates). Nevertheless, Sacramento is pleased with his development and has him pencilled in as their future starting SF.
 Tyrus Thomas-F- Bulls Feb. 9 - 10:36 am et

Bulls' beat writer John Jackson believes that "Whether he's dealt before the Feb. 18 trade deadline or let go this summer when he becomes a restricted free agent, [Tyrus] Thomas' days with the Bulls' are numbered."
Thomas was recently suspended one game for cursing out coach Vinny Del Negro, who had benched him for a series of awful plays. He has tons of potential but it sounds like he'll be in the doghouse as long as he remains in Chicago.
 Monta Ellis-G- Warriors Feb. 9 - 10:35 am et

Monta Ellis is optimistic that his knee injury, initially called a sprain, isn't serious. He will have an MRI on Tuesday.
"It was really scary, but it's just a little sore," said Ellis, who had the same knee surgically repaired in high school. "It's not as bad as it looked or as I made it seem." Test results should be announced later on Tuesday.
 Lou Williams-G- 76ers Feb. 9 - 10:33 am et

76ers guard Lou Williams missed Monday's practice with a sinus infection.
No word on his status for Tuesday's game, so we're considering him questionable. If he can't suit up, expect Willie Green (and Allen Iverson, if he plays) to get extra minutes.

 Allen Iverson-G- 76ers Feb. 9 - 10:30 am et

76ers coach Eddie Jordan wouldn't commit to starting Allen Iverson once he returns from attending to his sick daughter.
"That's a topic we have to discuss," said Jordan, who feels Willie Green has a "comfort area" as a starter. Iverson has a history of not taking demotions in stride, so keep a close eye on this situation.

 Kenyon Martin-F- Nuggets Feb. 9 - 10:11 am et

Kenyon Martin is listed as probable for Tuesday's game despite a knee injury.
He sat out practice as a precaution but should be fine, so use him as you normally would -- just remember that if Carmelo Anthony plays (he is probable) K-Mart's numbers will take a hit.

Steve Blake-G- Trail Blazers Feb. 9 - 9:59 am et

Steve Blake is part of a few recent trade rumors, tied to potential deals with the Heat, Magic and Wizards.
Apparently the Trail Blazers might part with Blake and Travis Outlaw to land Brendan Haywood. Blake has an appealing combination of veteran leadership and an expiring contract, so don't be surprised if he lands with another team before Feb. 18.
 Brendan Haywood-C- Wizards Feb. 9 - 9:55 am et

The Heat and Bobcats are both interested in trading for Wizards center Brendan Haywood, as are the Rockets and Trail Blazers.
According to Ken Berger of CBSSports.com, "The Blazers continue to steadfastly reject any scenario that includes Rudy Fernandez or Nicolas Batum." It's not at all clear who Washington would lean on at center if they unload Haywood.
 Coby Karl-G- Warriors Feb. 9 - 9:49 am et

The Warriors have decided not to sign guard Coby Karl to another 10-day contract.
In a few days, Karl went from being a starter to being off the team, but such is life for a D-League callup.
 Paul Pierce-G/F- Celtics Feb. 9 - 3:04 am et

Celtics coach Doc Rivers thinks Paul Pierce (left mid-foot sprain) will play on Wednesday.
"Paul didn’t do a lot (in Monday's practice)," Rivers said. "We actually pulled him out early. He ... wasn’t moving very well, so we just took him out." It sounds like the move was precautionary, but it never hurts to check back for updates.
