 Amani Toomer-WR- Chiefs Sep. 4 - 10:38 pm et

Amani Toomer caught two passes for 12 yards against the Redskins Thursday night.
Toomer drew a key pass interference call that led to a first quarter Eli Manning touchdown run. He remains a low-upside WR5 fantasy option.
 Kevin Boss-TE- Giants Sep. 4 - 10:32 pm et

Giants TE Kevin Boss was held without a catch against the Redskins Thursday night.
Boss was targeted once on a pass that was intercepted by Fred Smoot. Despite a string of timely catches in last year's playoff run, Boss remains a poor fantasy option because of his blocking liability.
 Jason Campbell-QB- Redskins Sep. 4 - 10:32 pm et

Jason Campbell completed 15-of-27 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown in Week 1.
Coach Jim Zorn and Campbell both appeared to lack confidence in the passing game; Zorn remained very conservative throughout. The line wasn't great, but Campbell's timing was off. He gets a great chance to rebound against New Orleans next time out, but he's a QB2.
Antwaan Randle El-WR- Redskins Sep. 4 - 10:30 pm et

Antwaan Randle El caught seven passes for 73 yards in the season opener.
Randle El racked up 60 garbage yards in the fourth quarter, which helped make up for two ridiculous false start penalties. The broken bone in his left hand wasn't a factor as Randle El had eight targets. Don't expect this sort of production most weeks until Washington turns their passing game around.
 Ahmad Bradshaw-RB- Giants Sep. 4 - 10:25 pm et

Ahmad Bradshaw did not receive a carry in the Giants opening night victory over the Redskins.
Outside of an early kickoff return, Bradshaw did not appear to see the field. There has been no word on a suspension or injury, so it's safe to assume that Bradshaw is behind Derrick Ward in the pecking order.
 Santana Moss-WR- Redskins Sep. 4 - 10:24 pm et

Santana Moss caught five passes for 37 yards and a touchdown in Week 1.
Considering how poor Washington's passing game looked, Moss did well to get this much production. He mostly ran slants and shallow crosses, but did get open deep once, but Jason Campbell took too long. Moss could be inconsistent until the Redskins new passing game gets on track.
 Derrick Ward-RB- Buccaneers Sep. 4 - 10:21 pm et

Derrick Ward had 39 yards on nine carries and added two receptions for 21 yards in Thursday's game against the Redskins.
Ward was used as the change of pace and third-down back and has emerged as the clear backup in New York
 Mathias Kiwanuka-DL- Giants Sep. 4 - 10:14 pm et

Mathias Kiwanuka was shaken up on the game's final play Thursday.
His leg appeared to buckle underneath him, but he was able to walk off under his own power. We'll follow up to see if it's serious. Kiwi looked fantastic for most of the game, recording 6 tackles and causing lots of havoc.
 Eli Manning-QB- Giants Sep. 4 - 10:13 pm et

Eli Manning completed 19-of-35 passes for 216 yards and an interception in Thursday's game against the Redskins. He added two carries for -1 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
A very uneven game for Eli. After starting out strong, he almost single-handedly kept the Redskins in the game in the second half. Overall, it was a typical Eli Manning game, with bright spots mixed in with inaccuracy and inconsistency.
 Brandon Jacobs-RB- Giants Sep. 4 - 10:09 pm et

Brandon Jacobs rushed 21 times for 116 yards and added one reception for eight yards in Thursday's season opener against the Redskins.
Jacobs was dominant on the ground, bowling over Redskins tacklers time and again. Until further notice, the roles in the Giants backfield have been defined with Derrick Ward as the change of pace and Ahmad Bradshaw as the No. 3 back.
 Plaxico Burress-WR- Giants Sep. 4 - 10:04 pm et

Fresh off the signing of a new $35 million contract, Plaxico Burress led the Giants to an Opening Night 16-7 win over the Redskins with a career high tying 10 receptions for 133 yards.
Plax had his way with the Redskins corners all night long in a performance reminiscent of last year's torching of Al Harris in the NFC Championship game. The ankle injury that bothered him throughout the preseason didn't appear to be an issue.
 Fred Robbins-DL- Giants Sep. 4 - 9:45 pm et

Giants DT Fred Robbins left late in Thursday's game with an injury.
No word yet on the specifics.
 Fred Smoot-DB- Redskins Sep. 4 - 9:22 pm et

Redskins CB Fred Smoot left Thursday's game against the Giants in the third quarter with a hip pointer.
His return is questionable. Smoot may just sit in the corner of the locker room and think about what he did after Plaxico Burress abused him throughout the first half.
 Todd Weiner-T- Falcons Sep. 4 - 9:19 pm et

The Falcons are still undecided on their starting right tackle position for the season opener.
If Todd Weiner (knee) is healthy enough to play, he will be in the lineup. If not, Tyson Clabo will fill in. The Falcons offensive line remains a major question mark this season.

 Curtis Lofton-LB- Falcons Sep. 4 - 8:56 pm et

Falcons rookie Curtis Lofton has officially taken over as the starting middle linebacker.
Lofton started the team's third exhibition game, so this comes as no surprise. He had reportedly started off slowly in OTAs before coming on strong in preseason action. Lofton could have a big impact in IDP leagues as the MIKE backer.
 Jason Taylor-LB- Dolphins Sep. 4 - 6:58 pm et

Jason Taylor (knee) lined up with the Redskins' first-team defense during pre-game warmups Thursday night.
It appears he'll start. Taylor was not on Washington's inactive list. He looks like a decent play now in IDP leagues, although the Skins still figure to scale Taylor's early-down snaps back in a Week 1 game.
 Deion Branch-WR- Seahawks Sep. 4 - 6:52 pm et

Deion Branch (knee) went through a limited practice of individual drills on Thursday.
We can start thinking about Branch playing in a game when he starts practicing in 11-on-11 drills. That may not happen for a few weeks.
 Donnie Avery-WR- Rams Sep. 4 - 6:48 pm et

Rams rookie Donnie Avery (knee) is not expected to play in Week 1.
It sounds like this injury could be a week-to-week thing. The Rams don't need Avery anyway with Dante Hall healthy and running as the third receiver.
 Anthony Alridge-RB- Redskins Sep. 4 - 6:45 pm et

Broncos RB Anthony Alridge, who is out for the season, may need surgery for a Lisfranc injury.
A Lisfranc operation could threaten an undrafted tailback's career, and at the least Alridge's availability for OTAs next spring. Alridge is currently on I.R.
 Jeff Saturday-C- Colts Sep. 4 - 6:39 pm et

Colts C Jeff Saturday has opted against undergoing surgery on his injured MCL.
In a best case scenario the Colts could have Saturday back by Week 7, but that's no guarantee at his age. If the team incurs lengthy injuries elsewhere, Saturday could be the first to go on injured reserve.
