 Kevin Martin-G- KingsFeb. 9 - 10:38 pm et
Kevin Martin got hot at the end of Tuesday's overtime victory in New York, finishing with 17 points (7-of-13 FGs), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 31 minutes.
He skipped shootaround with a migraine and was therefore obligated to come off the bench, but the Kings let him run wild in OT (showcasing?). Knicks' announcer Walt Frazier mentioned Martin leaving with an injury at the very end of the game, so check back soon for an update. (Game reports don't mention it, which is a promising sign.)

 Kevin Martin-G - Kings Feb. 9 - 7:51 pm et

Kevin Martin will come off the Kings bench on Tuesday because he skipped shootaround with a migraine headache.
He felt much better by the time he arrived at Madison Square Garden, and he is expected to play. It's probably too late to change your lineups anyway, and as long as he's active he's worth the gamble.

Beat writer Sam Amick says that there's no reason to think the Kings are motivated in the slightest bit to trade Kevin Martin.
The Kings would probably move Martin for a combination of young talent and expiring contracts, but they probably won't get that sweet of an offer. The Celtics have had legit talks, but if they're just offering Ray Allen that won't be enough. Look for the Kings to give their backcourt of Martin and Tyreke Evans some more time together.

The Celtics, Mavericks and Timberwolves have all shown interest in trading for Kings' SG Kevin Martin.
Sacramento has lost 19 of its last 22 games, as Martin's return (and swirling trade rumors) seems to have had a destabilising effect. The Wolves could break up their frontcourt to land KevMart, and owners should keep a close watch as we approach the Feb. 18 deadline.
 Ray Allen-G - Celtics Feb. 8 - 9:35 am et

The Celtics are actively looking to trade Ray Allen, according to CBSSports.com, and recently they inquired about Kings guard Kevin Martin.
Ken Berger writes, "Kings officials might be talked out of their reluctance to deal Martin if they could pry a prolific big man out of a third team brought into the discussions." Boston has also inquired about Kirk Hinrich as they look for a long-term solution at SG.

 Kevin Martin-G - Kings Feb. 7 - 2:53 pm et

Kevin Martin scored 24 points on 7-of-18 shooting (1-of-6 from downtown, 9-of-12 from the foul line) with seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals on Sunday.
We know what he's capable of, but he has either been pretty good or really bad since his return. With all of the uncertainty surrounding him regarding trade talks and his role on the team, owners should be watching him very closely, even though we're cautiously optimistic that he'll continue to be a stud.
