Ty Law immediately upgraded the Broncos' nickel defense on Monday night.
Opponents were attacking Jack Williams and rookie Alphonso Smith, so coach Josh McDaniels pulled Law out of retirement and threw him into the fire. Law responded with a solid game despite having to wear a wristband with the plays on it. Consider Law an upgrade for an already tough Broncos secondary.

Ty Law's one-year deal with the Broncos is for $800,000 and includes a $200,000 signing bonus.
Law can also earn up to $400,000 in playing time and performance incentives. He is also expected to dress and play on Monday night against the Steelers.

Broncos agreed to terms with DB Ty Law, formerly of the Jets.
Josh McDaniels calls on his New England ties yet again. Law, 35, doesn't have a whole lot left, but upgrades Denver's ultra thin secondary, probably as an eventual nickel back behind Champ Bailey and Andre' Goodman. Between Bailey, FS Brian Dawkins, and Law, the Broncos' league-oldest back end now has 20 Pro Bowls. It's unclear if Law will be active on Monday night.

Jets CB Darrelle Revis says free agent Ty Law is "talking" to the Patriots and Browns about continuing to play.
Both Aliquippa natives, Law was Revis' idol growing up and the two remain close. Law finished '08 with Eric Mangini's Jets. It's hard to imagine New England wanting him, but he could push Brandon McDonald in Cleveland.

New coach Rex Ryan left out ILB Eric Barton, CB Ty Law, and SS Abram Elam in his review of the Jets defensive starters.
Barton and Law are unrestricted free agents and likely to be replaced. Elam is a restricted free agent but is better suited for a reserve role. Ravens free agents Bart Scott and Jim Leonhard are possibilities to replace Barton and Elam.

Jets CB Ty Law suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of Sunday's win over Tennessee and saw limited action thereafter.
He had no tackles while Lowery made one. Law's injury isn't believed to be serious and he should be ready for Week 13 against the Broncos.
