Charlie Villanueva bounced back from Tuesday's 1-of-6 shooting, 2-point performance against the Lakers to score 20 against the Blazers on Wednesday, despite being limited by early foul trouble.
However, he added just three rebounds (and two 3-pointers) in the loss, and we're having a tough time getting a read on what kind of fantasy player he's going to be in Detroit. The tools are all there, but he's been very inconsistent. He probably qualifies as a buy-low target, but we'd like to see him play better before adding him to our roster.

Charlie Villanueva hit just 1-of-6 shots for two points in Tuesday's loss to the Lakers.
He did have four boards, two steals and two blocks, but we're not sure what happened tonight. He didn't hit a three and we're going to simply chalk this up to an off night. Check back on Wednesday to make sure he didn't suffer an injury tonight, as he played just 23 minutes.

Pistons PF Charlie Villanueva extended his streak of nice games on Saturday, posting 25 points, four 3-pointers, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
CV has settled down nicely after a shaky start to the season. He's capable of routinely scoring 20+ points for the Pistons, who don't have any other offensive weapons in the frontcourt.

Charlie Villanueva scored a season-high 30 to go along with two 3-pointers, four rebounds, two steals and a block.
He hit 13-of-17 shots and outscored the Bobcats 18-12 in the second quarter. He's averaging 19 ppg over his last six and is starting to get comfortable with his new team. Make sure he's in your lineup going forward.

Charlie Villanueva's offense has improved now that he's attacking the basket, and coach John Kuester also recently praised his defense.
"I thought as time went on [in Sunday's game], and especially in the fourth quarter, boy, he reacted extremely well, getting key rebounds and getting into the flow as time went on," Kuester said. CV's role should only increase now that Tayshaun Prince is dealing with a ruptured disc in his back.

Charlie Villanueva hit 11-of-17 shots and a 3-pointer for a season-high 28 points and five rebounds in Friday's loss to Orlando.
While it's still not the massive fantasy line we'd like to see from him, especially with Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince out, it is a start. He should continue to get better after missing the preseason with a hamstring injury.
