Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant announced on Thursday that he will enter the 2010 NFL draft.
Bryant's decision doesn't come as much of a surprise.  He has size, speed and can return punts. A nice combo package for NFL suitors. He is a certain first round pick.

Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant has been suspended for the season by the NCAA, though the Cowboys are appealing and expect a decision by next week.  The NCAA announced Tuesday the suspension will be in force until September 2010.
Guess we'll have to wait and see on this one. Right now, it doesn't look good for Bryant or Oklahoma State.

"There's nothing new," Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said regarding the status of suspended wide receiver Dez Bryant.. "We've had no response. I think everybody has given up."
It doesn't sound like there is much fight left within the Oklahoma Start brass.  Bryant is still awaiting a decision on whether he'll be reinstated by the NCAA after previously lying to them regarding a meeting he had with ex-NFL player Deion Sanders.

Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy, speaking of wide receiver Dez Bryant, told The Dallas Morning News that "there's no question that he's learned his lesson and that should help him down the road, later in life." Though Gundy doesn't know when the status of his star receiver will be known.
Bryant likely learned that lying to the NCAA isn't a good thing. And considering what happened to MC Hammer's career after he started hanging out with Deion Sanders, maybe Bryant will avoid the former NFL star as well.
