 Jason Thompson-F/C- KingsFeb. 10 - 3:31 am et
Jason Thompson had 12 points, 11 boards, a steal and two blocks in 34 minutes on Tuesday.
Maybe Paul Westphal is ready to give Thompson another chance. Spencer Hawes saw just five minutes last night, which contributed to Thompson's solid numbers, but JT is too good a player to be floating on waiver wires for too long. That said, we trust Westphal about as far as we can throw Don Nelson.

 Spencer Hawes-C - Kings Feb. 9 - 10:55 pm et

Kings center Spencer Hawes started but played a grand total of 5:45 in Tuesday's game, going scoreless with one rebound.
He was subbed out at the same time as fellow starter Beno Udrih and neither one returned to the game, so we can only assume coach Paul Westphal was playing the matchup game vs. the Knicks. Nights like this have been the bane of Hawes' season, and there's no reason to think things will change post-All-Star break.
 Spencer Hawes-C - Kings Feb. 7 - 2:57 pm et

Spencer Hawes double-doubled against the Raptors on Sunday, scoring 14 points on 6-of-16 shooting with 11 rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block in 36 minutes.
If you're using Hawes right now, you need to be prepared to take the good with the bad. But if you throw out Friday's disaster against the Suns, he has averaged approximately 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists, a steal, and just under two blocks per game in three of his last four games.
 Spencer Hawes-C - Kings Feb. 6 - 12:49 am et

Spencer Hawes, who had played very well in his last two games, hit just 1-of-6 shots for four points and three rebounds in 21 minutes of Friday's loss to the Suns.
Kevin Martin also struggled, hitting just 2-of-9 shots for five points. Both players are certainly worth hanging onto, but their inconsistency is obviously a big concern going forward.
 Spencer Hawes-C - Kings Feb. 4 - 1:31 am et

Spencer Hawes hit 9-of-14 shots for 18 points, six rebounds, a steal and three blocks in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.
Don't look now, but Hawes has played very well in two straight games, as well as three of his last five. If he's on waivers, this could be the time to move on him. He's failed to post solid numbers in more than two or three straight games all season, and this could be another false alarm. But if you have someone you can cut, grabbing him seems like a good idea to us. Jason Thompson was out tonight, but wasn't doing much anyway.
 Jason Thompson-F/C - Kings Feb. 3 - 6:42 pm et

Kings' forward Jason Thompson will miss his next two games to a attend a funeral on the East Coast.
That means he's out Wednesday and Friday, but is supposed to rejoin the team for Sunday's game at Toronto. Maybe this will give him time to clear his head and get back in the mix for Paul Westphal. In the meantime, look for solid play from Spencer Hawes and Jon Brockman.
