 Kent Huskins-D - Sharks Dec. 26 - 8:54 am et

Defenseman Kent Huskins says that he owes a big part of his career to his former coach in Anaheim, Randy Carlyle.
The Sharks play the Ducks tonight and Huskins, who was dealt to San Jose at the 2009 trade deadline says that Carlyle was instrumental in his career, starting in the minor with the Manitoba Moose five years ago. Huskins is a very good defensive defenseman, who has no fantasy value.

The Sharks re-signed defenseman Kent Huskins to a two-year, $3.4 million deal.
Huskins played only 33 games with the Ducks last season before being sidelined with a broken foot. The Sharks acquired him at the deadline, but he didn't play a single game with them due to the injury. He had two goals and six points with Anaheim last season.

 Kent Huskins-D - Sharks Mar. 15 - 8:38 am et

Kent Huskins resumed light skating on Friday.
He was acquired by the Sharks from the Ducks at the trade deadline despite being sidelined with a broken foot. Huskins did not accompany the team on their road trip that will see San Jose play his former team on Sunday night. "It would have been nice to play them," he said referring to the Ducks. "But it would be even better to just play, period."

The Anaheim Ducks have traded Kent Huskins and Travis Moen to the San Jose Sharks for Timo Pielmeier, Nick Bonino, and a conditional draft pick.
Huskins broke his right foot on December 19th and he hasn't played since. There's still no word on when he'll return, but you should consider his status week-to-week for now.
