The Grizzlies were hoping to catch lightning in a bottle with Gilder, but it obviously didn't pan out. He wasn't expected to make a fantasy impact this year regardless.

The Grizzlies signed former NBA Development League standout forward Trey Gilder.
The rookie forward averaged 13.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in 23.9 minutes in 50 games (11 starts) for the D-League Champion Colorado 14ers last year, but isn't expected to make an impact in Memphis.
