The Panthers have restructured SLB Na'il Diggs' contract, cutting his 2010 salary but adding four years to the backside.
Diggs was scheduled to make $2 million in 2010, but now he will make $855,000. At age 31, there is virtually no shot he will play out those four years and beat writer Darin Gantt suggests that the Panthers probably included some kind option payment that won't be picked up. Regardless, this ensures that Dan Connor will stay on the bench for now. |
