Safety Donte Whitner endorsed the idea of Michael Vick playing for the Bills next season.
Whitner is in his fourth season with the Bills and one of the team leaders. "I believe Michael Vick would be a good fit and I would encourage whoever to bring Michael Vick in," Whitner said. It's not exactly a vote of confidence from the defense for Trent Edwards. Not that he deserves one, either.

According to Scout.com's Adam Caplan, $1 million of Michael Vick's 2010 salary will be guaranteed if he's on the roster on March 10.
The Eagles will likely shop Vick around (with very low expectations in terms of compensation) in the days leading up to that deadline. With Vick due $5.25 million in 2010 salary and bonuses, he won't be an Eagle next season.

A federal appeals court backed a judge's ruling that Michael Vick can keep more than $16 million in roster bonuses from the Atlanta Falcons.
The judge had earlier ruled that Vick earned the bonuses before his dogfighting conviction, so the Falcons could not take the money back.

Michael Vick was on the field for two snaps in Week 9.
Was it really worth all the protests, headaches and distractions for him to play two snaps? Vick will almost certainly be in a different uniform next season. He even admitted to Bob Costas that "it would be hard" to return to the Eagles.

NBC commentator Tony Dungy, who has worked as a personal advisor to Michael Vick, suggested Sunday night that Vick could end up with the Bills in 2010.
"I think a dark horse is Buffalo," Dungy said. "They talked originally. I think that could be a good spot." He also called the Rams, Redskins, and Browns possible suitors. Vick has a team option for 2010 that would cost the Eagles $4.25M to exercise. Their limited use of Vick suggests that it won't be.

Michael Vick went 1-of-1 passing for five yards and ran three times for nine yards in the Eagles' win on Monday night.
Vick saw just four snaps out of the Wildcat. He looked like he was running in weighted shoes before busting off his nine-yard run in the fourth quarter. Vick has been a non-factor throughout the year and is barely a story anymore.
