Colts SS Bob Sanders will undergo surgery to repair an injury to his left elbow.
According to the Indianapolis Star, Sanders will miss "an undetermined amount of time." The Colts are used to playing without Sanders by now, and Melvin Bullitt has played well in his absence. With Marlin Jackson (ACL) out for the season and Kelvin Hayden (knee) out four weeks, though, Indy is suddenly short-handed in the secondary. Source: Tribune Star
