Heath Miller has been selected to his first Pro Bowl as Dallas Clark's replacement.

At age 27, Miller shattered his previous career highs in yardage and catches thanks to the Steelers' pass-happy scheme. Known more for his great hands than explosive playmaking ability, Miller still looks more like a TE2 heading into next season. There's not much upside on his 2009 numbers.

Heath Miller caught five passes for 56 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.

Miller has some of the best hands in the league and he flashed them on his touchdown catch in the back of the end zone. Miller was one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Steelers' new pass-heavy attack this season, setting career highs in yardage (789) and catches (76).

Heath Miller caught three passes for 35 yards in Sunday's win over the Ravens.

The Steelers' passing game came back to earth after last week's eruption. This kind of performance is more in line with the TE2 type of production we expect from Miller.

Heath Miller has set a Steelers franchise record for tight ends with 68 receptions on the season.

Eric Green, the prototypical big athletic tight end of the '90s, set the record with 63 catches in 1993. One of the most complete tight ends in the league, Miller has shattered his career highs in receptions (68) and yardage (698) this season.

Heath Miller caught seven passes for 118 yards in the Steelers' Week 15 victory over the Packers.

Miller found himself matched up with Packers LB A.J. Hawk more often than not and easily broke free from the former Ohio State Buckeye. Miller has already set a career-high in receptions and is a great fantasy option against teams that don't defend well against tight ends.

Heath Miller caught five passes for 59 yards against the Browns in Week 14.

The numbers aren't bad, but Miller had the team's best chance to get into the end zone and dropped the pass at the 2-yard line. Still, he's a viable fantasy option next week. He's already set a career-high with 61 receptions, and Green Bay is mediocre against tight ends this year.
