Joey Porter will not play against the Bucs Sunday because coach Tony Sparano is benching him.
Although Porter has been struggling with a knee injury, that is not why he won't play Sunday. It's unclear what happened, but the Dolphins are saying the outside linebacker won't play because of a "coach's decision." Matt Roth or Charlie Anderson are likely to replace Porter in the starting lineup, with Cameron Wake's role also increasing. Source: Miami Herald
