 Arian Foster-RB- TexansNov. 17 - 7:33 pm et
Texans activated RB Arian Foster from the practice squad.
This is a situation worth watching. Foster may initially see time on special teams, but coach Gary Kubiak made it clear that he wants to see more of the rookie on offense. Foster was considered an early-round prospect before an injury-plagued senior season at Tennessee. If the current trio can't improve their fumbling issues and 3.4 YPC, Foster could get a shot later on.

 Steve Slaton-RB - Texans Nov. 10 - 4:52 pm et

Texans coach Gary Kubiak called his backfield situation "a day-to-day deal" Tuesday, reiterating that he'll need all three backs.
"I want to see how Steve responds and comes back from this break. I want to see how Ryan responds and Chris being as fresh as he can be," said Kubiak. For now, we're expecting the Texans to ride the hot hand if one emerges. If not, Moats will work on early downs with Slaton coming on in passing situations.

 Ryan Moats-RB - Texans Nov. 8 - 4:33 pm et

Ryan Moats rushed 16 times for 38 yards and caught three passes for 15 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Colts.
Moats worked most first and second-down situations while Steve Slaton was trusted on third down. Neither looked very explosive, especially against the Colts' tough defensive front. Houston has a bye in Week 10, but their backfield should be avoided in most fantasy leagues anyway.
 Ryan Moats-RB - Texans Nov. 8 - 11:34 am et

NFL.com's Jason La Canfora reports that Ryan Moats will be getting the football "much more" on early downs moving forward.
La Canfora confirms a previous report that Moats will start at the Colts, and it looks like he'll dominate first- and second-down situations. Steve Slaton will continue to be involved in the committee, but as mostly a passing-down back. Moats currently has the most fantasy value in Houston's backfield.

 Ryan Moats-RB - Texans Nov. 7 - 5:02 pm et

Ryan Moats will start at running back for the Texans Sunday, according to ESPN's Bob Holzman.
Holzman got the news from Texans coach Gary Kubiak, and relayed it to Adam Schefter. The news isn't a shock, but certainly helps Moats' fantasy value in a decent matchup against the Colts. Steve Slaton and Chris Brown will both likely be heavily involved, so Moats is a good, not great, flex option.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak reiterated that he's going to play all three of his running backs this week against the Colts.
Kubiak said a starter will be determined later in the week. We're expecting Ryan Moats to start the game as a reward for his 151-yard, 3-touchdown performance last week, though his production will be limited by Steve Slaton and Chris Brown.
