 Leonard Pope-TE- ChiefsNov. 22 - 4:47 pm et
Leonard Pope caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers in Week 11.
Pope caught a 21-yard touchdown pass to start the Chiefs' comeback. While he seems to overtaken Sean Ryan as the main tight end, he's not going to be a fantasy option.

 Leonard Pope-TE - Chiefs Sep. 29 - 6:16 pm et

Chiefs signed TE Leonard Pope, formerly of the Cardinals.
Pope will be re-united with Todd Haley. While his receiving potential is higher than any tight end currently on the roster, his poor blocking will keep him from seeing significant playing time.

In addition to ex-Patriot Alex Smith, the Giants worked out free agent TE Leonard Pope on Monday.
A career underachiever, Pope is an option to replace Darcy Johnson if Johnson starts the season slowly. The Giants don't seem to be rushing to use third-round pick Travis Beckum, who's still honing his blocking technique.

Cardinals released TE Leonard Pope.
The 2006 third-rounder has the look of a prototypical tight end, but he just never developed as a blocker. It's telling that Dominique Byrd made the final cut ahead of Pope. The Saints and the Bengals could come calling.

Cardinals tight end Leonard Pope played behind Stephen Spach and Ben Patrick in the team's preseason opener.
Pope was also terrible, dropping a TD from Matt Leinart. It's possible Pope will be on the roster bubble when Patrick's four-game suspension ends.

The Cardinals have four tight ends that could start on opening day, even though Leonard Pope is currently No. 1 on the depth chart.
They actually have five tight ends in camp, but Ben Patrick is suspended for the first four games of the season. When Patrick gets back he has the best chance for fantasy value, but it's unlikely any of them will be worth owning at any point. The Cards have the most tight end-unfriendly offense in the league.
