 Sidney Rice-WR - Vikings Jan. 24 - 11:17 pm et

Sidney Rice caught four passes for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings' NFC Championship Game loss to New Orleans.
Rice did his best Larry Fitzgerald impression by totaling 184 yards and a whopping four touchdowns on 10 catches in the postseason, but it wasn't enough. The Saints sent frequent double teams his way Sunday, and Brett Favre opted to look elsewhere. Rice can maintain WR1 status in 2010 if Favre returns. Should Favre hang up his cleats, perhaps no Viking's fantasy value would be affected as much as Rice's. Favre simply loves throwing to the guy.

Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post expects the Saints to double team Sidney Rice in Sunday's NFC title game.
Lombardi points out that Saints DC Gregg Williams often doubled opposing No. 1 receivers down the stretch. Dallas singled Rice in last week's loss to the Vikings, but the Saints won't make the same mistake. This is where the potential absence of Percy Harvin (migraines) could really hurt Minnesota.

 Sidney Rice-WR - Vikings Jan. 17 - 4:42 pm et

Sidney Rice exploded for 141 yards and three touchdowns on six catches in the Vikings' Divisional Round playoff win over Dallas.
Rice caught S Gerald Sensabaugh in single coverage down the right sideline in the first quarter, and basket-caught a perfect throw from Brett Favre for his first score from 47 yards out. On his second, Rice appeared to whiff on a block at the line, but got up quickly and found an opening over the middle to glide in for a 16-yard TD. Rice whipped Cowboys postseason goat Mike Jenkins down the left sideline for a fourth-quarter 45-yard bomb. Stopping Rice will have to be a priority for Saints DC Gregg Williams next weekend.
 Sidney Rice-WR - Vikings Jan. 3 - 4:05 pm et

Sidney Rice caught six passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns in Week 17 against the Giants.
Rice ends his breakout season in style, finishing with 1,312 yards and eight touchdowns on 83 grabs after totaling 46 catches in his first two seasons. He caught at least four passes in 13 of the final 14 games at age 23.
 Brett Favre-QB - Vikings Dec. 31 - 4:18 pm et

Coach Brad Childress confirmed that the Vikings will not be resting their starters against the Giants Sunday.
"We're 100 miles an hour, win that football game. That (resting players) is a luxury," said Childress. "We're not even considering that." The Vikings must win at 1:00 ET to nail down a bye for the first round of the playoffs. Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson, Sidney Rice, and Percy Harvin are safe to start this week.
