 Darren McFadden-RB- RaidersJan. 3 - 8:36 pm et
Darren McFadden rushed five times for nine yards in Sunday's loss to the Ravens.
McFadden’s second season did not live up to the hype. The knee injury he suffered in Week 4 and abysmal quarterback back play didn’t help, but Run DMC never separated himself from Michael Bush and Justin Fargas. He simply wasn’t that speedy big-play threat everyone expected. His fragility won’t convince the Raiders he’s an every-down kind of back.

 Darren McFadden-RB - Raiders Dec. 30 - 12:09 pm et

Raiders beat writer Jerry McDonald isn't so sure that Darren McFadden will ever be a 1,000 yard back.
"Those people who questioned whether McFadden would be able to break enough tackles in the NFL look right at this point," wrote McDonald. It's fair to question McFadden as he's averaged just 3.5 yards per carry this season and never broken 100 yards.

 Justin Fargas-RB - Raiders Dec. 29 - 11:17 am et

Justin Fargas had his knee drained on Monday and is questionable for Week 17.
Knee drains often help with mobility in the short term and this leads us to believe Fargas is going to do everything he can to play against the Ravens. With Fargas inactive last week, Darren McFadden and Michael Bush split the snaps pretty evenly.

 Darren McFadden-RB - Raiders Dec. 27 - 5:24 pm et

Darren McFadden ran for just 23 yards on seven carries, but caught four passes for 55 yards in the Raiders' Week 16 loss.
11 touches is about what McFadden is getting on a weekly basis, even with Justin Fargas (knee) out. He's essentially a Reggie Bush-type gadget player. McFadden did start Sunday's game, but Michael Bush ended up with more carries. Their path does not get easier in Week 17 against Baltimore.
 Michael Bush-RB - Raiders Dec. 27 - 12:09 pm et

Justin Fargas (knee) is inactive for Week 16 at Cleveland.
Michael Bush is expected to start and see the bulk of the carries with Darren McFadden in a change of pace role. Bush will be a viable RB2 this week. Other Raiders inactives: QB J.P. Losman, QB Bruce Gradkowski, WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, OT Khalif Barnes, WR Javon Walker, TE Brandon Myers, and WR Nick Miller.
 Justin Fargas-RB - Raiders Dec. 25 - 6:31 pm et

Justin Fargas (doubtful, knee) missed Raiders practice again Friday.
Fargas is unlikely to be active against the Browns, which sets up Michael Bush to dominate carries again after posting 133 yards and a TD off the bench in Week 15. The matchup is favorable and Bush can definitely play, but relying on any Raider in fantasy championships is a huge dice roll. Darren McFadden will also be involved, though probably only as a change-up back.
