 Chad Henne-QB- DolphinsFeb. 6 - 9:06 am et
Chad Henne wants the Dolphins to use their first round pick, No. 12 overall, on a big, playmaking wide receiver.
"Somebody who's 6-3 and can run. I like our receivers, but we don;t have a power guy. We do a lot of finesse stuff," Henne said. "Somebody like [Braylon Edwards] would be good." Of course, Edwards and Henne were college teammates at Michigan and Edwards will be a restricted free agent. Options in the draft include: Dez Bryant, Brandon LaFell, and Arrelious Benn.

 Chad Henne-QB - Dolphins Jan. 10 - 12:07 pm et

Chad Henne is the Dolphins' presumptive starter in 2010, no matter what the coaches say, according to beat writer Armando Salguero.
Coach Tony Sparano wouldn't fully committ to Henne last week, but that was just coach speak to make sure Henne knows he has a long way to go. Henne could use a playmaking receiver or tight end to aid his development.

Coach Tony Sparano wouldn't fully commit Monday to Chad Henne as the Dolphins' starting quarterback for 2010.
"I haven't really discussed it yet," Sparano said. "I haven’t really looked at the whole body of work." Sparano did admit he was "really pleased with what Chad did" in his 13 starts. Sparano may still be grumpy after missing the playoffs, and probably wants to keep Henne on his toes. There's no doubt that Henne showed well enough to enter 2010 as the clear-cut starter.

Chad Henne's was knocked out of Sunday's game due to blurred vision and he'll see an eye doctor on Monday.
Henne says he first started experiencing a problem with his vision after Steelers OLB LaMarr Woodley sacked him and he landed on the left side of his head. Henne stayed in the game, but it got worse when he went into the locker room at halftime. This won't be any sort of long-term problem.

Chad Henne completed 16-of-20 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown in the first half of Sunday's season-ending loss to the Steelers. He didn't play in the second half due to an eye injury.
We're not sure yet exactly what is wrong with Henne's eye, but it must be something serious because he didn't even go back in the game when Pat White got hurt. Henne took over as the Dolphins' starter when Chad Pennington was hurt in Week 3 and was inconsistent. He made some plays but struggled with bad interceptions. Henne will return as the team's starting quarterback next season.

Chad Henne did not start the second half for the Dolphins due to an eye injury. His return is questionable.
Henne was standing on the sidelines with a baseball hat on as Pat White took over under center for the first series of the second half. It's a bad situation for the Dolphins since White has never completed an NFL pass. Henne picked apart the Steelers' secondary in the first half, going 16-of-20 for 140 yards with a touchdown.
