Eddie Royal (neck/head) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
The Broncos will play without Brandon Marshall, Tony Scheffler and Royal. It's turning into a terrible situation for Kyle Orton and a Broncos team that is still alive in the playoff chase. Needless to say: Not for long.

Broncos signed WR Matt Willis off their practice squad.
We already know Brandon Marshall won't play and this move probably means that Eddie Royal (neck) won't play either. Willis isn't much of a prospect.

Eddie Royal (neck/head, questionable) was limited in Friday's practice.
Assuming he plays against the Chiefs, Royal could have a bigger role than usual because Brandon Marshall has been ruled out and Tony Scheffler benched.

Updating a previous item, Eddie Royal (neck) returned to practice Thursday.
Brandon Marshall (hamstring) remains out, but the Broncos are up to four receivers if Royal returns to game action. Look for Denver to stick with a run-heavy game plan against the Chiefs' poor tackling defense regardless.

Eddie Royal's (neck) status for Week 17 is in question after missing Wednesday's practice.
Coach Josh McDaniels was hopeful that Royal would participate in a limited practice Thursday. With Brandon Marshall fighting through a hamstring injury and Kenny McKinley on IR, the team only has three healthy receivers.

Eddie Royal (neck) has been ruled out for Week 16.
Perhaps the biggest bust in fantasy football this season, Royal will likely be replaced in the lineup by Jabar Gaffney against Philadelphia. Brandon Marshall remains the Broncos' only pass catcher worth a fantasy start.
