Pierre Garcon caught five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Super Bowl loss to the Saints.
Garcon finished his first season as a starter with a bang, scoring in both the Super Bowl and AFC Championship game while accumulating 16 catches for 217 yards. He should be locked into the No. 2 receiver role next season, ahead of Anthony Gonzalez. Garcon, 23, is only going to get better and will be a high-upside WR3 target in 2010 fantasy drafts.

Anthony Gonzalez (knee surgery) feels "very, very confident" about being ready for next season.
"I'm feeling a lot better," said Gonzalez. "The rehab has been a lot longer than I would have liked, but it's getting stronger every day." We still don't know if Gonzalez underwent multiple surgeries or just the one scope to fix his strained or torn PCL. Pierre Garcon is a better fit at flanker and Austin Collie has developed into a slot machine, so Gonzalez's 2010 role is very much up in the air.

Pierre Garcon caught 11 balls for 151 yards and a touchdown as the Colts advanced to Super Bowl XLIV in Sunday's AFC Championship Game win.
It's probably time Anthony Gonzalez's shallow-league dynasty owners gave up hope. Torching the Jets' combination of Lito Sheppard, Dwight Lowery, and Drew Coleman, Garcon was Peyton Manning's go-to guy with "No. 1" receiver Reggie Wayne covered by Darrelle Revis. Garcon made highlight-reel caliber catches along the sidelines and showed off his underrated after-catch skills. He's up to 16 receptions and 185 yards through two playoff wins.

Pierre Garcon caught five passes for 34 yards against the Ravens in the Divisional Round of the playoffs Saturday night.
Peyton Manning went to Garcon early in the game, trying to capitalize on a matchup with Frank Walker. Garcon's biggest impact, though, came on a savvy hustle play where he chased down Ed Reed on a long interception return and punched the ball out from behind.

He should retake his starting job after the Colts' first-round playoff bye. Garcon was listed as having played snaps, but didn't see a target. He's been dealing with a hand injury that won't keep him out of the postseason.
