Austin Collie caught six balls for 66 yards in the Colts' Super Bowl loss to the Saints.
Collie was one of the better rookie wideouts in the league this year and remained highly effective throughout the postseason. He finished the playoffs with 17 catches for 241 yards and two touchdowns. Collie, though, may have to hold off Anthony Gonzalez for snaps next season. Gonzalez is expected to be tried in the slot after losing his outside receiver job to Pierre Garcon.

Anthony Gonzalez (knee surgery) feels "very, very confident" about being ready for next season.
"I'm feeling a lot better," said Gonzalez. "The rehab has been a lot longer than I would have liked, but it's getting stronger every day." We still don't know if Gonzalez underwent multiple surgeries or just the one scope to fix his strained or torn PCL. Pierre Garcon is a better fit at flanker and Austin Collie has developed into a slot machine, so Gonzalez's 2010 role is very much up in the air.

Austin Collie was added to the Colts' injury report as "probable" with a foot injury.
The probable designation means Collie is expected to play his normal role in the Super Bowl. He was limited in Friday's practice, but he has another full week of practice to get back up to full speed.

Austin Collie caught seven balls for 123 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' AFC Championship Game win over the Jets.
A true Jet killer, Collie racked up 13 catches for for 217 yards (16.7 YPC) and the score in the teams' two meetings this season. Collie's TD at the end of the second half turned the tide in Indianapolis' favor, and Jets S James Ihedigo was no match for the crafty slot receiver. Collie has now scored a touchdown in five of his last seven games, dating back to Week 13.

Austin Collie caught four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' Divisional Round playoff win over the Ravens.
Collie staked the Colts to an early lead with a 10-yard touchdown. He nearly added a second score but dropped the ball on a helmet-to-helmet hit by Ray Lewis. A primary red-zone target for Peyton Manning, the Colts' slot machine now has eight scores on the season.

Austin Collie started the Colts' Week 17 game at flanker, but caught just one pass for 15 yards.
The Colts were intent on getting Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark to 100 catches while Peyton Manning was in, so the ball wasn't going Collie's way. After Manning exited early in the second quarter, Curtis Painter completed just four throws. Collie will resume his role as Indianapolis' go-to guy in the slot between Wayne and Pierre Garcon after the first-round bye.
