Bills placed RG Kendall Simmons (shoulder) on season-ending injured reserve.
Simmons, who started all three games after signing in late November, suffered the injury in last week's game. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by the newly signed Richie Incognito, which should be an improvement.

Bills OL Kendall Simmons, signed earlier in the week, is expected to start at right guard against the Dolphins Sunday.
With Eric Wood (broken leg) out for the season and backup Seth McKinney (knee) also sidelined, the Bills don't have many options. Former street free agents Jonathan Scott and Kirk Chambers will likely start at tackle, making this the seventh different combination in 11 games. Start the Dolphins D/ST with confidence.

Bills signed OG Kendall Simmons.
Simmons was a first-round pick of the Steelers back in 2002 but suffered a major Achilles injury and was cut by the Patriots on Nov. 6. He'll provide depth behind new starting guards Andy Levitre and Kirk Chambers.

Patriots released OG Kendall Simmons.
The Pats surprisingly signed Simmons to a three-year, $2.555 million contract in September, but he'll never see the majority of that money. The former Steelers guard is coming off an Achilles injury.

Per beat writer Mike Reiss, the deal OG Kendall Simmons signed with the Patriots was for three years.
This is a surprise as it was thought Simmons would just get a one-year deal considering he was coming off an Achilles injury. But the Pats are obviously pretty high on the former Steelers guard. He earns a $280,000 signing bonus, $620,000 this season, $755,000 in 2010 and $900,000 in 2011.

Patriots signed OG Kendall Simmons.
Simmons was the Steelers' first-round pick in 2002. He blew out his Achilles last season and hasn't garnered much interest on the free agent market until now. He's can play center and guard and will give the Pats' line some depth.
