The Kings have trimmed their roster to 14 by waiving Desmond Mason, one day after signing Ime Udoka to a contract.
Despite starting the season as the team's starting SG, Mason struggled mightily with the Kings in both the pre- and regular season (2.3 points on 27.5 shooting).

 Andres Nocioni-G/F - Kings Nov. 4 - 10:13 pm et

Andres Nocioni replaced Desmond Mason in the starting lineup for the Kings on Friday.
If he's available in your league, he probably won't be by tomorrow afternoon. Omri Casspi should also see a boost from the move as well.
 Desmond Mason-G/F - Kings Nov. 4 - 7:05 pm et

After the Kings signed veteran Ime Udoka Wednesday, some are speculating that Desmond Mason's roster spot may be in doubt.
Mason is averaging 2.3 points on 27.5 percent shooting in 9 games (pre- and regular season) with the Kings, and, disturbingly, most of his misses have come from close range. The Kings had already planned to start Andres Nocioni in Mason's spot Wednesday, even before the Udoka signing. None of this is good news for Mason.

 Ime Udoka-F - Kings Nov. 4 - 5:28 pm et

The Kings have signed G/F Ime Udoka to a contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Udoka has amassed career averages of 6.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game through 227 games in five seasons with four NBA teams. Udoka could get some minutes on a struggling Kings team, but this could also be a sign that inept starter, Desmond Mason, may be about to lose his job. Omri Casspi, Andres Nocioni and Udoka would all be candidates to steal it.

 Kevin Martin-G - Kings Nov. 4 - 4:24 pm et

Kevin Martin missed shootaround with a swollen left (non-shooting) hand and will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game.
Martin injured the hand during Monday's game, in which he scored a career-high 48 points. X-rays were negative. If Martin can't go, Spencer Hawes will start at C and Andres Nocioni will take over at SF for Desmond Mason, who will take Martin's place at SG. Stay tuned for more information.

 Omri Casspi-F - Kings Nov. 3 - 1:48 am et

Kings rookie Omri Casspi scored 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting on Tuesday, with three 3-pointers, four rebounds, two steals, two blocks and just one turnover.
Casspi played 30 minutes and it looks like coach Paul Westphal has taken a shine to him -- as opposed to starting SF Desmond Mason, who played just seven minutes. Matchups could dictate which guy gets the minutes, but Casspi is the only one with fantasy upside. We're not completely sold, but feel free to stash him away.
