Hines Ward caught eight passes for 61 yards in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.

Ward was the target of screens and quick outs all day. He wasn't very explosive after the catch thanks to that hamstring injury, but he continues to earn his reputation as one of the toughest players in the league. At age 33, Ward played in all 16 games and caught a remarkable 95 passes this season for 1,167 yards this season.

Hines Ward (hamstring) is listed as probable for Week 17.

He returned to a full practice on Friday, which is something of a surprise after the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Ward is dealing with two separate hamstring injuries. Ward won't be 100 percent against the Dolphins.

After missing a second straight practice Thursday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Hines Ward is dealing with two hamstring injuries.

Ward often sits out Wednesday's practice, but missing Thursday's session is a legit concern for his Week 17 status. If he can walk, however, we're sure Ward will be suiting up. If the Browns game earlier this month is any indication, he may be doing more harm than good. Check back Friday for an update on his status.

Hines Ward (hamstring) missed Steelers practice on Wednesday.

Ward always gets Wednesdays off even if he isn't injured, so we'll know more about his status on Thursday. His hamstring was aggravated in Week 16.

Hines Ward is in danger of missing the season finale at Miami after aggravating his hamstring injury in Sunday's win.

"He's just beat up," coach Mike Tomlin said. "We'll do the best we can to get him to the party. You know if he's got a chance, he's going to show up for this team." Ward took himself out of the game in the fourth quarter Sunday, though he said he planned to go back in if the team needed him. He's calling himself "day to day."

Hines Ward caught four passes for 37 yards in Sunday's win over the Ravens.

Ward was really quiet after catching two balls on the first drive of the game. We don't think he aggravated his hamstring problem and Ward should bounce back against the Dolphins next week.
