Camilo Villegas has yet to tee it up on the PGA Tour in 2010.
And he didn't enter next week's AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am either. The Colombian played in the first two events on the European Tour's Desert Swing, posting finishes of T19 (Abu Dhabi) and T9 (Qatar). He won't make his 2010 PGA Tour debut until the WGC-Match Play in two weeks. It's the latest he's ever started his U.S. schedule. Notables with PGA Tour cards (not on medical extensions) that have yet to appear this year and will not play Pebble Beach include Tiger Woods (personal reasons), Ian Poulter (started '08 and '09 at the Match Play), Trevor Immelman (recovery from wrist surgery), Arron Oberholser, Henrik Stenson, Jeev Milkha Singh and Rory McIlroy. |
