 Eddy Curry-C- KnicksFeb. 7 - 10:17 am et
Eddy Curry says he's ready to return from knee surgery, but it doesn't sound like the Knicks have much interest in giving him another chance to play.
Curry is convinced that coach Mike D'Antoni won't give him a chance to play. "Odds are I'm not going to play," he said. "For my own sanity I would like to come back." We're not sure why Curry expects to get another chance after playing in just seven games this season and 10 over the last two years. He does, however, plan on exercising his $11.27 million player option for the 2010-11 season, which is not surprising.

 Eddy Curry-C - Knicks Jan. 18 - 11:38 am et

According to the NY Post, Knicks center Eddy Curry will undergo knee surgery to remove loose cartilage, with an expected recovery time of six weeks.
Another setback for Curry, who has been incapable of overcoming nagging injuries and poor conditioning. It would be surprising to see him in uniform again this season, but anything is possible.

Several Knicks players claimed they had trouble sleeping at their hotel in Oklahoma City because the Skirvin Hilton is "haunted."
Seriously? The Knicks get ripped by 18 points and then they blame ghosts in their hotel. Eddie Curry claimed he only slept two hours -- perhaps he spent the rest of the night eating.

Eddy Curry did not participate in Saturday's practice because of "stomach ailments."
Curry hasn't played in eight games and isn't likely to crack the rotation any time soon. He's a lost cause in fantasy circles.

 Tracy McGrady-G/F - Rockets Dec. 31 - 12:54 pm et

The New York Knicks are one potential suitor for Tracy McGrady but to manage a trade the Rockets may need to buy out his hefty contract.
The Knicks have several contracts that they could throw out in exchange for McGrady, most notably Al Harrington ($10 million), Eddy Curry ($10.5 million), Jared Jeffires ($6.46 million) or Larry Hughes ($13 million), but a buyout would be ideal for the cap drained Knicks.

Knicks center Eddy Curry hopes that the team buys out his contract after this season -- he would likely take $2 million less than he is owed ($11.3 million), hoping to make up the difference with a deal for the veteran's minimum.
"It's tough for Eddy not to have a big role," said coach Mike D'Antoni. "When you just throw him in three minutes, the team doesn't adjust well and he doesn't adjust well. He doesn't give us a chance to win as much as he should and it's not his fault." In other words, don't expect to see him in action any time soon.
